I woke up to 5 degrees F outside. I feel your pain.

Posted by D-res on Jan-14-2007 00:15:

we just got the first snowfall to stick to the ground in at least a month. It's been in the 40s all through december. I'm too broke to go snowboarding but it's nice to see snow again.

Hello!

it's 8 degrees outside now and snow on the ground. I need milk and i sold my car.
To walk it or not to walk...

Do it you pussy, I don't have a car and I live in VERMONT.

Whenever I think it's cold out, I remember ski practices at night on the mountain in high school, ave temp was like 5F...the guys would walk around holding their balls for fear of going sterile. Did I mention we had to wear GS suits (the tight spandex suits)? Thank god we had a flask.

Posted by getfoul on Jan-14-2007 02:55:

i remembered i need salsa and mustard too... I have to go now.

Full time school. (Nearly) Full time work = pays my rent. Not much extra after that.

How's your credit?

I'm off campus. It works out to be almost half as expensive as dorms. Which I would ultimately have to pay for anyway. Lol, whatever...at least no one can tell me I don't have a good work ethic.

I live in Burlington which is the hub of the entire state. I would call it a city, but if you guys saw it you'd laugh...hehe

I finished paying off my student loan, just last Summer.

I know how it is also, to pay my own way - it goes with life, when you're on your own.

how many people live in burlington? in billings where im at theres only 105,000 roughly.

heres a few pictures-

msu-b

a look downtown

looking west

Posted by Caela on Jan-14-2007 08:13:

oh weird...i have a few friends that go to school at U. Montana @ Bozeman.

Burlington is less than 40,000...and that dwindles when the out of state college kids leave for breaks (thank god!).

as much as I complain about it...I wouldn't trade it in for anything. It's one of those things that you will only understand if you live here.

Posted by eFeKz on Jan-14-2007 20:14:

i went to msu my freshmen year of college in 05...partied my ass off and said fuck school.

like you my folks dont pay for anything so, im taking yet another year off so i can get my ten foot lava lamp and a NICE new car :]

looks like a nice place to live though, you've got the ocean
