I haven't touched my decks in 3 months either. Pretty sad waste of gear. But that's about to change.

| Originally posted by djjonas I have quite a few of his remixes. I plan to use a couple of the Cosmic Gate remixes in my next set at KT. Mike and I are going to Nic and Suzy tomorrow. You in? |
I'm pumped about that KT show BTW. Love his music.

| Originally posted by Progress Ent. Yea. I told Beatright I'd come check out his & Funky1's set. They were some of my street guys and I haven't had a chance to hang with them for a while, so I told them I'd come check out their sets. They are spinning the video bar. |

I started !!
With a dvd player a crappy 3 channel no eq mixer and the original playstation.
I mixed like that for like 3 yrs ( iwas about 12 yrs old.) Then I lifeguarded for like a whole summer and I didn't spend a dime on anything ( my mom n dad were payin all the bills)
My original influence 2 start buying dj equip was paul oakenfold. I'd listen 2 him in 99 n listen 2 radio 1 follo him from shanghai to gatecrasher to buenos aires. I loooved those sets so much.
N e ways...So I raised up about 4000 bux cash ! No joke and I bought a pair of shitty ass numark cd players...(nvr buy numark) and practiced from there.n the res of the cash went 2 the downpayment of my truck.
N b4 my dad died he showed me his vinyl collection n we just sat there and talked about vinyl and how he got into collecting n all this. I was a vinyl purist for a while cos of that...
Then he passes n I buy a turntable from chemistry records for 250 . It was all beat up but it was a technics. I used the social security money I was using @ the time.
Then I got a good job djing crap @ jillians n I bought my 2nd turntable then and I practiced day after day 4 countless hours till I got my 1st gig @ mantra to play 4 sean carnahan. N then the rest is history !
