Well said, TranceNutter
I would agree with all of your analysis. It will be a very even year for sure since all the top teams are only running eveolutions of last years car (for the most part). The rule freeze was helpful in that regard I guess.
I think it was Mario Thiessen who said that this might be the best year of racing yet since it won't be as political. A little jab at Schu but I can't help but agree.
Lots of young talent, Newey going to RBR, the whole "customer cars" saga with Aguri and STR...should be a great season.
new Ren has been launched.

bit too rainbow-ish? the back looks good, the front is fugly.
more pics here
car racing (of any form) is enough to make me want to gouge out my eyes and spend the rest of my life looking for new ones.
The Renault looks like it's made out of Lego, lol.
And you couldn't find picture of Kovalainen...
I expect exciting season. Schumi is out and top drivers changed the team. I guess Kimi and Alonso are still favourites, but Massa could be surprisingly good.
I expect big things from Massa.

| Jenson Button was supposed to complete his first laps today in the RA107, but unfortunately for the 27-year-old the car stopped without having even completed a single lap. Honda is currently in Barcelona to present its 2007 contender. The RA107 made its debut on track for the first time on Wednesday. Rubens Barrichello completed a number of laps without any major problems. Unfortunately for Button he had to cope with what looks likes an electrical problem. http://www.f1racing.net/en/news/200..._first_lap_out/ |
The new Red Bull is, surprisingly, REALLY good looking! ![]()

Ow nice one RB
I'm LOVIN the black Honda
Never really had a fave team or driver, i just love watching the sport
and everything behind it ie engineering.
But i'm pullin extra for Kubica at BMW - did a GREAT job to finish the season....hope he does well
New Williams is out. I had a long thought before putting here that Rosberg picture, that haircut is so fagtastic it hurts my eyes.

It's good thing for Kubica if BMW really is fast. For young driver success would be very good thing. Also Heidfeld could actually get good car first time ever.
But still I guess Renault, Ferrari and McLaren are top3 when season begins.
Original post updated.
Biggest news of the couple past weeks:
- The Honda livery officially announced today. Wtf, it's absolutely horrendous.
- Liuzzi confirmed at Toro Rosso, then Scott Speed. Such a big delay and speculation, then they actually stick with the duo of drivers they had, weird. Monteiro is out of F1 - not that I cared a lot about him, but always nice to have someone from Portugal there. Our hopes are on Filipe Albuquerque now (lower FRenault champion last season) and lvaro Parente (british F3 champion 2 years ago, now on A1GP, his career seems going downhill unfortunately due to lack of sponsors, i rate him as damn fast).
As for winter testing, lots of things happening:

Ouch! That's a nasty shunt.
Good for Kubica showing great testing pace. BMW is concerned about reliability though in a few articles I read on www.autosport.com today. hopefully they get that sorted before the season.
That Honda livery looks like ass. Good on them for trying to put the environment into the public eye in whatever way they can though. Still looks like ass. With the departure of Lucky Strike, I don't think they found a title sponsor, which resulted in this new look.
I wonder if their non-fireproof team gear will be made of hemp? Damn hippies!!!
Ferrari looking good
