It sounds like you're trying to justify being a bit of a bitch. Don't. Life isn't all pleasantries and mwuggles. It's best for this girl to learn this lesson now whilst she's really down - She will be stronger for it in time.

yea she was totally addicted to meth for a while there and free basing coke n shit. i remember she told me that during one of the few times we talked and i was like, "umm, ok". 
then she got knocked up and they got married and then she got knocked up 2 more times. she's 26 with 3 kids under the age of 5

As right as you are with trying to cut her off using the " I am too busy right now" excuse is quite possibly the most pathetic thing someone could ever say.
Just play give it to her straight ( not trying any puns here ) play hard ball and eventually she'll bugger off with perhaps a call at a later time but she'll get the message in her head sooner or later
and if that was your short version I wonder what the long version could be like.
You really know how to cut out the small talk, extra-strenuous details etc

Invite her to dinner and then do some friendly after dinner coke snorting. A few hours after you both have been dry humping each others legs you both will think everything that happened in the past was like water under the bridge.
