Dude...that's so Tuesday. Today is the yen carry trade getting unwound. Though in typical fashion, the market finds a way to inflict maximum pain so once everyone sells it goes right back up.

As for us, we've held our own this week I suppose. Got hit on Tuesday but made it all back on Wednesday. Today is basically flat. Fun times.

The MSM of course making it out to be some 'Black Tuesday'

You 1/2 expect an asteroid to come hit Earth when you see stuff on their front pages...

People freak out when they see the kind of selling that happened the other day. THey realize they've been complacent and that the concept of risk got thrown out a long time ago. Oddly, I heard that the 400 point/3% decline we saw on Tuesday was as big in point magnitude as the hit that the market took in the crash of '87. The only exception is that back then it was a 20%+ hit.
