nope, that's progressive, vibasphere also added to progpsy, along with andromeda, P.O.T.S. Human Blue & in some ways Incolumis.

I'm between both lots at the moment, find the slower stuff starting me off & ending on the trancier.

see i was just going off that, i thought progpsy was just progressive with psy elements in it. which, in my opinion, the artists i mentioned have. i didn't know there was a whole subgenre of artists specifically labeled progpsy.

RPO i just mentioned cuz i was listening to Threshold Productions - Never Forever and the RPO remix sounds very D-Nox & Beckers.

yeah, I totally agree here, I'd say they've moved more into prog with mroe hints of maybe electro or house, but I still find enjoyment in their tunes

there is. and there are quite a few labels releasing only it. such as Iboga, Tribal Vision, Flow Records, Digital Structures, Spiral Trax, Yellow Sunshine Explosion.

If you are looking for real progpsy, go for Bitmonx.
If you want to go even deeper, check out the little known collab Tenka.
Unfortunately Tenka has just made a few tracks but they are at the very vast borderline of minimalistic progpsy. A trip there is highly recomended!

Kenosis does some djing of the progressive psy. His mixes are always solid, check out his website kenosis.com to d/l the mixes and get names of tracks. Pz

Hey, I have not been keeping up with the scene as I continue to enjoy the old goa stuff but this sounds interesting.

I didn't find any of this "progressive psy" stuff online (I didn't look very hard) but I think I have some.

Is it kind of like progressive house, but instead of the usual sounds, there is the psytrance sounds? Its slow and steady right? I have a set like that and its very nice.

Someone please put up a description!

fuck off now.

People just need to stop pulling the opinion card everytime they are wrong. Seems like everyone has his own little truth that cant be disproven and thats ridiculous.

Its like:

'Do you see that apple over there?'
'No, I actually think its an orange.'
'Ok, respect to your opinion.'

What the fuck, seriously. Looks like truth and facts are losing meaning in this world.

Of course it is, Im not saying its not. Its the impression I got.

Are you asking for progressive psy producers?

If that is the case here are some examples:
Reefer Decree, Ace Ventura, Sun Control Spieces, Andromeda, Tegma, Ticon, Vibrasphere, Human Blue, Liquid Soul, Behind Blue Eyes, Gaudium, Son Kite, Perfect Stranger, NASA, Flowjob, FREq, Antix...

+ 1 go for these

They don't really got that much psy elements in their music. But it is groovy as hell!

If anything I would put them more towards Goa.

Vibrasphere goa? hell no

Posted by six04 on Jan-26-2007 18:17:

What is with all of this distinction between psy and goa? I don't understand...

Posted by Whirloop on Jan-26-2007 22:59:

I think there was a huuge thread about it somewhere down the line.
Go find it, many people expressed their thoughts about the subject of your question so maybe you can create your own opinion out of it.
