Rasta

By FAR....These 5 caught my eye for sure...

1. Johannes Heil
2. Thomas Schumacher
3. Stephan Bodzin
4. Oliver Huntemann
5. JOHN DAHLBACK (THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS RIGHT NOW!!!)

Posted by raveed on Jan-26-2007 07:12:

1. Armin - While his productions were below par, besides decadence, I thought his sets last year were brilliant

2. Paul van Dyk - Had seen him 6 times prior to 2006 and each time I thought he was nothing great but his gig at roseland ballroom early last year was very good and he topped that by a long shot when he played there in november ... easily my favorite dj at the moment

3. Giuseppe Ottaviani - Until Monday and Through your eyes were both fantastic productions

4. Thomas Bronzwaer - Constellation, Shadow World and Close Horizons ... hes been on top form this year

5. Judge Jules - Contrary to what I had heard about him, he played a very good set at MM ... banging tunes all the way

good call...I forgot 4 strings & Phynn who were both amazing at Sundance last summer. IT was an old school trance vibe and they were easily the highlights of Day 1.

Never really was into them until i picked up a few sets this year....
THEN i got my hands on Bleed - AWESOME
I just LOVE progressive music, and that album is just sick.

Really, really like these guys

good to see Shiloh mentioned here. They are definitely blowing my mind with their stuff right now. Canadian electronic music artists for the win!

Posted by DarkAngel on Jan-27-2007 00:12:

In this better case, I have but FOUR names.

Yoji Biomehanika
ATB
Giuseppe Ottaviani
Rank 1

Yoji KILLED the Koolhaus in May of last year, and I've been a fan ever since.

ATB played an incredible set at Nature One in Germany in August. Upon hearing several other of his '06 sets, I've been impressed time and time again, not to mention pleased.

Far From In Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Giuseppe Ottaviani....only one half of NU NRG but he is def. the better half. Set after set he's done a great job and can't wait for his VONYC set next Saturday night.

And last, but certainly not least, my #1 favorite Rank 1. Massive sets from Toronto, to L.A. and radio, as well as a short stint in here in Miami.
