Pulled this DVD out and watched it tonight, another video everyone should see, even though it is house. REALLY shows you the power of dance music.....if you can get your hands on the whole thing, the vibe on this set is fucking amazing. I can't even fathom what it's like to perform in front of a crowd like that, the energy has to be insane.

what the fuck do you mean, "Even though it's house"?

House is what everything else came from, of course it's going to have an incredible following and energy and power.

That Papa Sven vid is pure gold. Though I'd 100% rather be at that gig than watching Markus act like a self-righteous wanker on stage at a massive. You know, people actually enjoying themselves and just being free and relaxed, doing what they feel like doing, whether or not anyone else feels exactly the same way.

My big point though was that it's ignorance to think that EDM = Trance, or that trance is any more "big" or important than anything else. And that it's also wrong to assume that everyone on this board is "here for trance." I mean, over on the West Coast boards, as you might expect due to what people over here have a reputation for liking, it's probably 80% techno/house/progressive with relatively few people really being huge trance heads. And since I dislike most (not all) Trance, I personally fucking hate being lumped in with the Tiesto/Markus Shultz/Ferry Corsten crowd.

Not really sure who you're addressing there mate, but I was sure you'd love that Papa Sven video as it is one of my all time favorites.
