As for recording him, in most states you have to let the person you're talking to know that they're being recorded in order for it to be used in court. If you can locate him, I'd just hand all the info over to the cops when you file your report. If you can give them enough info, who knows? They may get a search warrant and find all kinds of things. Like I said; You don't know if they're watching him already and have just been waiting for one more victim like your g/f to come along to put him in jail. And even if they're not, they take attemtped rape pretty seriously.

I wish you the best of luck...and don't give up until you've explored every possible way you can to identify him! Think outside the box and consider ANY security camers that he could be on (nearby 7-11 convenience stores, etc.).

You might even go file that report NOW and ask the cops if they can have a sketch artist re-create his image while your g/f's memory is still fresh. Again, it may lead to identifying him now AND/OR later.

About 6 months ago I went out to a local club with some friends. I had a couple of drinks, was doing my thing... chilling out. An hour and a half after I had gotten there, and 2-3 drinks later, I started feeling REALLY drunk... like the kind of drunk you get when you've had 12 drinks. Everything started to spin, I started feeling drowsy, I was losing my balance. I felt so weird.

Immediately I went to my roomie and told him I needed to leave. I said I felt really tired, and that I wanted to go home to go to bed.

We ended up leaving, and I went home and instantaneously passed out. This would have been around midnight or so. I didn't wake up until 3 in the afternoon the next day, even though my alarm clock had gone off, and my phone beside me rang over 24 times (I was supposed to meet someone.) This is REALLY bizarre from me because I am the worlds lightest sleeper, and can't even sleep through someone so much as touching my bedroom door.

Anyway, I finally woke up, and I felt like serious shit, like I had been punched in the head. It wasn't the regular hang over feeling, which I couldn't imagine I would have had a hangover anyway. I still don't know to this day whether I was roofied or not, but if I was, it was massively scary. Ever since then, I have watched my drinks carefully.

turns out, it could be GHB. anyways i'm going to the police station wtih her tomorrow to file a report and see if this scumbag has been reported before. if so, i'm going full steam on this

edit: also, while cleaning up the next day one of our good girlfriends found an empty visine bottle next to the bar. my mouth dropped

Women should never accept drinks from strangers these days. Women should buy their own drinks or only get them from close friends. Times have changed; I just heard a similar story like this the other day. Girls have to be careful, hold onto their drink & not leave them just sitting around

generally speaking, i wouldn't want my man risking getting arrested in some stupid bar fight, but this is an exception. if he seems to be linked to a few friends' friends...then track his ass down and give him a beating.


i had somethinng put in my drink too. blacked out for a few hours and was with my ex's best friend and this girlfriend of mine. i was the 3rd wheel so being the social butterfly i am, i started talking to people and found myself talking to this guy who bought me a drink. just casual friendly chatting.

i had already had 4 drinks, but that's not enough to make me the way i was. apparantly i disappeared for like 35-40 min and my ex's friend and my friend were looking for me. and then i just appeared in the crowd and he said he took one look at me and knew he had to get me home soon, but i insisted we go to another bar apparantly. i had that same glazed stare in my eye and i wasn't really talking, i was just LOADED...like i didn't know where the fuck i was and like i was ready to puke right there. everything from about 15-20 minutes after i started talking to that guy to the rest of the night was a commplete blackout. no memory of anything. and we're talking a good 2-3 hours.


puked all the way home (in his brand new 745 Li lol ouch) and then he carried me up the stairs and into my apt and i ran straight to the bathroom and stayed there until the next day...puking and passing out for hours in the fetal position on the ground. my ex woke up and found me facedown in a puddle of my own puke...sleeping but sort of convulsing a little and my eyes were rolled in the back of my head. he put me in the shower with my clothes on and just let the water hit me and rinse me off. took me like 2 days to fully recover.


i freaked out when they told me the next day how they couldn't find me. i was like, "how long was i gone? what did i look like when u found me? was i pissed?" it scared me...not to mention my ex freaked out and started screaming at me like, "WELl where the FUCK did u go? u didn't go anywhere with that guy did you? bla bla bla" it sucked.

but his friend wasn't worried because he said i didn't look like i had just been raped or anything when they finally found me. i mean, if i had gone off with that guy and he tried to fuck me or whatever, i doubt he would have taken the time to help dress me again...my clothes were all in tact and i looked the same. i probably just found another group of ppl in a corner and was talking or something...

it was still kinda creepy though not knowing for sure where i was for 35 minutes. i've heard stories about that exact place from other chicks having something put in their drink too. i never went again and don't plan to ever.

I'd agree with that as well, too often they get away with it and will continue doing it unless someone gives them a few smacks about the head, could probably also let the club security know about him if youre in a slightly more moderate mood.
Even when you do buy your own drinks you can never be too careful because these scum will try and throw it in a drink when they don't think youre looking. One of the most embarrassing nights of my life was actually having the police haul someone out when they got busted, they didnt appreciate the fact I punched him in the nuts (and its not something I'd ever do normally!) but overlooked it in lieu of the staff jumping on him as being a part of their job, thank god

this is only true of people who are raped/sexually abused for periods of time and are quite young. not some 21+ yr old with NO history of sexual abuse.

one thing i have learned is the ONLY time you can accept a drink from a stranger is if you are both at the bar and you are watching the drink the whole time. never accept it otherwise.

anthony: that really sucks. glad shes ok. at least you realized she was not her normal self and took her home. i agree with the ghb thing. the roofies have less physical effects and more psychoactive effects. GHB has a horrible physical and pschoactive effect on a person and since your gf is quite small it effected her a lot.

for those that dont know GHB does NOT have this effect when NOT mixed with alcohol. only when mixed with alcohol does this happen. otherwise its just a happy feeling.

Does she still have it!? That's important evidence right there. Even if his prints are not on it anymore, it could still link him to the crime if he has similar eye-droppers on him (in his car, at his home, etc.) and they can catch him with them still.

Let us know what the cops say. Be nice to think of him ending up in jail. Even convicts hate rapists. He'd be in for a real "special" time in the State Pen., lol.

thers some seriously fucked up people in this world. glad it turned out o.k. but if that were to happen to me and i somehow found the guy id probably lose it. give him the scare of his fuckin life.

i agree. lots of fucked up guys in the world. i would lose it too if i saw the guy that did it to my girl if i ever had this happen.

Sounds like a bad situation. Your lucky your missus had her mates with her too.

No old fashioned beating is needed in this situation. You do that and you risk bringing the heat down on yourself and your friends. Not only will you have the cops looking for you this guy and his friends will. However he can a beating but you need to use some guile.

Anthony find out every detail about this guy where he lives, works, frequents in his social time, and who are his associates. If you know people who know him you'll get this information no problem but don't be over probing it with the questions.

Is there anyone in another town or city who owe's you a favour? Perhaps someone who likes a brawl? Get them involved and make sure their not a close association to you.

Establish this blokes routine, is he a smoker will he be walking to shops? Does he like a drink in the nearby bar? Does he wait for his girlfriend outside her work? Once you have his routine find a place which is the most secluded and isolated. Wait at least 3 - 4 months then make your move.

Get your guys to sort this bloke out. Remember you cannot be anywhere near this when it happens so take your family and some friends out for a meal, somewhere visible too.

Sucks for your girlfriends. Sounds pretty much like when I consumed Rohypnol (unknowingly) and some valiums etc. Although I never felt sick. I just acted really, really fucking drunk. I remember following my mate to the train, we ate some McDonalds before his train left.

Next thing I remember is saying bye to my friend. I had taken the train with him, only a 20 min trip. Next thing I remember is that I'm standing on a platform, some hundred miles away from where I started out. I run on a train going to Oslo. Next thing I remember, I'm at this exhibit in Oslo, that my class had.

Something like 24 hours of my life is blacked out. I remember tiny, tiny fragments of it.

'Normally' people don't throw up from Rohypnol, unless they are given/have taken a too high dosage.

Some substances are intended for consumption with food, and will be too strong on an empty stomach.

For instance, MDMA is too strong of a substance, so I puke everytime I take it on an empty stomach. I don't mind though, cus I know that in the instance I throw up, the MDMA euphoria will rush through my body. Almost like being hit by a car. Only in a good way haha.

What the fuck is hoping for is that he drugs your drink and then sometime between when you get really wasted and when you start puking and pass out he can isolate your from your friends and try and get you to leave with him.

My bet is that it was actually GHB not rohypnol. GHB is typically much easier to find and has similar effects when mixed with alcohol. Basically the way the world is now a girl can't accept a drink from anyone ever and they can never let their drink leave their sight even for a second.

yea i always hold my drink cup with my hand on top of it, unless i'm sitting somewhere and it's right in front of me...
