No I didn't wind up anyone. Went into a pub half, they heard me my mates talking the old taff's thought it would be good to take the p*ss out of us, banter ensued on our behalf. Some big grizzly bearded slaphead didn't like it launched a pint glass at us a rallied the whole area into a lynch mob.

Anyway quite good talking about nationalities in this thread especially with someone who's Swiss so what are we then Jdat? A frog, a kraut or a wop today?

if you want to go by genetic lineage I am irish, german and native american.

i met a fit welsh girl on holiday years ago & her parents wouldn't let her talk to me cos i was english 4 of my best friends are scottish tho, inc fundy from here, and i often find myself fancying scottish gals, im just english, born in england, support england in sports etc. Britain just doesn't do anything for me

In my experience they're quite a miserable lot I've met one or two who are alright. They have a strong sense of unity on the occasion I go legged there was loads of them even a couple of old people joined in the pursuit too!

Ian giving a Taffy bird the Don Juan treatment. If I caught a Northerner talking to my daughter I wouldn't be 100% happy I'd have to tell them to get back down the mines
