You can't take the opinions of the majority because that will only lead to the ordinary.

People on this forum can't know if you've successfully pulled off a look because they would have to know your personality more fully.

Also the vast majority of people wouldn't venture a look that didn't agree with current trends. Ironically the people who invented those trends have since moved on to new territory. Territory which very well might include white frames with rose lenses.

All true. But you still can't disagree with the fact that Elton John looks way better in those sunglasses than he does.

It has nothing to do with that. You look particularly bad in those glasses. Shape, color, frame, lens etc...it just makes for a terrible package on you.
