I think that was on purpose. Anyway, see avatar

They *were* trying to be irreverent dicks though! That *is* the point!

If they took that awesome opportunity to make their point on national television seriously, it would actually detract from their point that this entire bullshit affair is something that should NOT be taken seriously.

They are not trying to change the world. They are confirming the pre-existing prejudice that people already hold against the mass media by more or less giving the proverbial "finger" to all of the people who want this to be a serious issue if not for the irrational fear of it all, but for the ratings.

In short, the media wanted them to take it seriously - so they didn't. This is all a case that has been inflamed by the media anyways, so detracting from their power by willfully refusing to cooperate with them might just be their only weapon.

That may be, but they weren't the same monkeys who were running in fear from a lite-brite.

Well yeah....

I really like the idea of public interventions like this and in my electronics for artists class there was a lot of people working on similar public space projects.

Fun stuff.

LMAO! That was awesome.

People need to chill the fuck out.

"You're not taking this seriously." Shut up bitch.. no they are not BECAUSE IT ISN'T SERIOUS. Take the pickle out of your ass and laugh. People are fucking pathetic... running around scared of lite-brites. This is the result of fear tactics produced by the government and media does to society. Makes everyone a bunch of uptight fucking pussies who need to smoke a joint.

yes... "they" don't like it. soon, "they" will send men in black suits, because "they" feel offended. you should never "fuck" with "them", since "they" might get "you" in "trouble".

"fuck" "you" "too","asshole".

Posted by Fast Turtle on Feb-05-2007 02:10:

genius. they've figured out how to continually exploit the media to get free national advertising all over the internet and tv. the court case will get thrown out and they'll get a few thousand dollar fees and maybe $50k to their lawyers, and a priceless amount of advertising through this media circus.

these guys rock.

the ads were put it up in other cities, but boston was the only one dumb enough to put the whole city on alert for a silly lite-brite ad.

btw - how can they charge these guys with a "hoax" when there was no attempt to deceive? lmao @ the clowns in boston.
