Arturia Minimoog V is pretty amazing if you get creative with it.
Listen to a clip of minimoog here
again the MOTU MX4 is pretty nice aswell
I'm still using Tweakbench Pressure, and it gives me tons of meat and power without needing to layer my basses. Too bad they discontinued it.
When it comes to commercial VST's then nothing comes closer to a good hard kicking bass then the Korg Polysix or MS20. Freeware I definitly prefer my homemade B303, a phase distortion bassline synth old gold JoBro Media stylee.
Has to be V-Station for me or VB-1
Aux Send to a pre-fader FX channel with a stereo delay and low pass filter for some rolling bass line action, then wack a Sean Tyas style off beater underneath
FJ
ooh another to add to the list...FabFilter Twin
Oh crap, I just noticed the question was favourite bass vst, not vst. In that case, I use Vanguard but I really haven't found one that I'm entirely comfortable with. These posts should help me with that.
N.I. Massive... hands down.
