Nova in Melbourne has little mixups for like 20 mins each or something a few times during the day so I enjoy that, not necesarily what tracks they play (sometimes good, sometimes not as good) but they seem to make a little effort, If they had a mixup like JJJ on the weekends it would be good, especially to get more people into the music I think.

I live in Bankstown, but you need a very strong decent radio (antenna)to pick it up

OK this is mostly just me trying to get someone who knows something about music to listen in, but if your looking for some decent radio, i'm playing 10 till 12 tuesday nights on http://diyradio.msa.monash.edu.au/, though the website will soon move to diy.org.au. I ain't quite got the mixing skills of tiesto, but i've got a few decent tunes, and it definatly sounds different to fox fm. ;-)

What music do i play? Trance OF COURSE! :-) Well actually it varies a little depending on what i feel like but i usually have a mostly trance / tek-house style set with a bit of house, DnB and techno thrown in, it's always interesting to try and mix well between dnb and trance! If you know Taucher, Tiesto, and Talla 2xlc i usually play a bit like that. Don't listen to the pre recorded one that's online at the moment, it's crap, i only had one deck that day working so i just talked in between changing records! Really bad. Tell me what you think after you've tuned in, i've got some decent stuff in my crate at the moment.

Dynafire (aka dj glycerine) searchs for Kasey Chambers in his crate........ ;-)

Yeah i agree, Nova say they play "new future" music or what ever you want to call it. But all i hear is mainstream songs like Cocaine and old 60's rock and roll.

i dont reckon an extra station will do any harm... might make the existing stations lift their act abit perhaps

warpbrothers... i seriously doubt they'd have tracklists for the church mixups... u could go wait outside the church maybe... and ask the djs themselves cos ive seen riki and kenny l wandering out the front after their sets a few times..

i gave up on radio a long time ago,, Kiss Fm in melb had no idea just playing cheesy shit all the time but they did do live from twotribes , then street FM bahhhhhh!!! adelaide well they have freshFM lol wont even talk about that crap..im in brisbane now and dunno anything about this place but prob the same trends as other states....

i saw the Nova FM thing on TV they wont play trance,, people we need to start our own station.. pirate or something..
