Why does nobody ever book Matt Darey in Toronto? Everybody whines about there being no trance in TO anymore except for the big events. Well, Matt Darey can still lay down some wicked trance, but I've never heard of him ever coming to Toronto, although he has some western gigs coming up soon. I'd like to see him at least once.

He was at Viva last year, which I foolishly missed.

He is one of the few that I really want to see.

ah fuck. I didn't even hear about it, but probably because I've never been to Viva and don't pay attention to their lineups.

It's pretty simple. If you want different faces, don't go to The Guv. There are tons of other venues in this city bringing a very wide variety of names, from all different genres. One of the most hilarious criticisms I often see on this board is that there aren't enough new names in this city. The Guv isn't the only venue we have.

time for a change imo...theres a bunch of DJs out there Guv hasn't brought in for these massive nights who could really rock this place!

edit: I'd come to Toronto to any venue really to see these guys...whether it be Guv or not...

The Guv has needed a change for years now....but they know what seems to work so they keep doing it. Like Graham said there are a lot of different venues that are bringing in different talent but I agree guv needs to change it up...you can almost set your watch to which DJ is coming in which month....I thought it was great that Guv brought Lisa Lashes back and I think its time to get Lady Dana into Guv....Lady Dana vs Yoji....oh I would be in heaven.
