ur probably gonna need alot more money then that, at least another 500 cause remember the conversion factor, its like #1.30 to get 1 euro in the summer

yup. major suckage. my bet is that the $ will probably dive deeper in the summer.

seb: i went last september with 2g for everything. i've never done drugs, stayed in a 2 star hotel (read: crap), i'm a one beer queer and that was _just_ enough quid for that 10 day extravaganza. and the conversion wasn't as bad as it is now (or will be in 6 months.)

quick update:


Pacha just bought the casino that's about 100 yards from the venue and are planning to turn it into a club (and maybe move there for good)



according to the latest rumours, direct from a source which is always spot on, pacha has an offer on table for the land where the club is today of 10.000.000� and is considering the possibility of moving in 2008 to the warehouse they just bought (for which, source says, they paid 2.000.000�)






i hope this doesn't happen, pacha's venue is legendary and even though its not the biggest club in ibiza, its still classic and hosts some of the best house parties!

The bigger - the better.

You gotta let go of the old and its not like you keep a building forever like museum - just because.

yeah i know but its still a cool venue and with so much history, but if they do go through with it, it can be bigger than space, and that would make for some sick sick parties!


im sure they can still have retro parties there like flower power

where do u reccomend on staying in ibiza? because arent some of the clubs on different sides of the island? just tryin to gauge where i should stay to be in good location of the main ones....space, privelege, amnesia, and pacha......

well ibiza town and playa den bossa are rather expensive compared to san antonio (where i stay)

space and pacha are on the east side of the island, amnesia and privilege are dead center, right off the highway.

playa den bossa and anything south of the island you will find alot of resorts meant for families which is nice, but ur paying for that BIG time! i stay in a great hotel in san antonio bay right on the water for 50 euros a night compared to about 120+ on the other side of the island. plus san antonio is where the big pre parties are at bars such as Cafe Mambo, Cafe Del Mar, Kanya Beach. and to go to clubs like space, pacha, amnesia, privilege, its about a 20 minute cab ride from the pre parties so that would be my choice.

now if u r going with a bunch of people, then u can go to jet apartments in playa den bossa right next to Bora Bora which might be cheaper for all of u

and remember one thing, DO NOT LEAVE PERSONAL BELONGINGS UNATTENDED IN YOUR HOTEL ROOM!!!! LOCK IT UP IN UR SAFE BOX!!!! u have no idea how many times i've seen people get all their money / passport / valuables stolen!

absolutely phenomenal pictures!!! man either this year or without a doubt defintiely next year....so i saw u comment about how u were lucky to get ur camera inside.....ive heard b4 that the clubs normally dont let u bring cameras in....that true? and its unbelieveable to c all those djs so open and willing to take pictures...fuckin awesome....and i to must agree with ur party motto......im defintiely the 1st ones to show up, and one of the last ones to leave

thanks man, feel free to post in the review threads..... cameras are fine in DC10 and pacha, as long as u don't show them ur camera in amnesia when u walk in u'll be fine, just be discreet about it when u r inside cause people will tell u to put it away. space is very hard cause its the only club that u get pat down, the only way i got it in is because for 5 minutes there was nobody there so i just walked in

all the dj's and all the people are so much more relaxed over there and the vibe at every party is awesome

i agree ... not as many steroids like miami ... im back in ibiza this summer .. last year they got me at armada night on amnesia with my camera, security told me to put it away .. they came back the secong time and made me pay fot the memory card ..... just be discret and NO USE OF FLASH ..

what's new this year in ibiza besides sunset partis in san antonio and playa de bosaa???

it matters when you wanna kick back and some strange f*ck stands there with a camara and films you. its different when you make videos of yourself and frinds and when of others when you wanna keep it private.

the whole reason why wmc will perhaps wait for some other time.
The whole atmos of Ibiza and parties is incredible. and plus, first stop will be Barcelona.

I know the feeling brother. I seen them work it together last year on the Island playing closin season week & in Frankfurt the day before Sensation in Poland. I am still feelin Vath/Hawtin full.
