I think the closest to chavs in the USA would be guidos from Jersey ... but they aren't exactly chavs either

They all dress in flamboyantly coloured tracksuits, hiking jackets and striped sweaters. Lacoste is by far their favourite brand. I don't think there really is a direct American equivalent. I've always considered white trailer trash to be the closest.

Abusing the benefits system by claiming "unfit to work" due to depression, injuries etc and of course with petty crime. A lot of the clothes they wear are probably cheap knock offs, although they're probably stupid enough to blow a �300 monthly payement all on a Berghaus hiking jacket.

I agree the beats are good, but it's not like SHE's the one who made them. I'm still deciding whether she's annoying or not. It might just be the way she talks...it's god awful. Oh and I noticed she dropped a line in one of her tracks joking about getting deported...way to copy Slick Rick.
