Stopped by this party after Switch @ FW...I had a busy weekend as it was, and couldn't really dance so I just kinda chilled and enjoyed the music.

I only saw the first hour or so of Chab, and thought he started off pretty slow and plodding...picked it up shortly though and carried on with some great energy.

Wish I had some more juice left but I was all tapped out, nice to see/hear it was another solid night of music @ sonic.

not bad at all...What about

Chab - Lover (Satoshi Tomiie 3D Remix) ?

I'd die if this was played and I wasn't there

Twas good times. I post on this board never, but I enjoyed myself. Chab was a little too roller-coastery for my liking, but when he got it going he really got it going.

He was gearing up to play again for the staff as they cleared the place out.

Cheers,
J<

As everyone has already said, it was a great night! Music was top notch from both Brad and Chab. Didnt know what to expect from Chab, but I was impressed. As usual, the friendliest and best crowd / staff you will find in the city.

My short and simple review

Sorry, I don't recall hearing that one. I do remember one more, however....

Union Jack - "Two Full Moons and a Trout" (Chab Remix)

VV cool track....

P.S. If you want to hear a sample of this tune, you can go to www.beatport.com and search the track "two full moons and a trout"....the Chab remix is the fifth one down....

Chab would have been interesting to hear.

Yah, no kidding.

Chab was pretty good. At first I noticed him barely using the headphones, so I thought maybe he was using the booth speakers to monitor... Well it turned out that his whole show looked prerecorded with the songs triggered by midi events. When I was talking to him for a bit I could barely understand what he was saying so I couldn't get what program he was using. It looked like a combination of Acid and Cubase. I wonder if anyone knows?

I found the funny part how he kept lighting up in the booth unaware of the smoking by-laws... It definitely gives character to this dj hahaha

So at the risk of you all thinking I am mental, there was another guy in the booth that played a few tracks after Brad and before CHAB, I asked everyone who he was but they made it seem like I had imagined him....

Anyone?

There isn't a better closing track.

Yes!

Although i was only at sonic for 1 hr or so tunes were awesome and Simpler was the best way to end it all!

It was Ableton Live.

What an incredible night! The DJs, the music, the people, the vibe, all smack on. A perfect night that one never wants to end. Keep these amazing nights coming Sonic. Build it and they will come!

Great to meet everyone new and awesome to chat with you Brad, you are one classy guy. I always thouroughly enjoy your sets. When you open, the transition between DJs is seemless in my opinion. Thanks again.

DAS (very limited) FOTOS!

I didn't take many fotos at Chab since I was "spent" from taking 170+ photos fotos earlier in the night.

Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately life has priority over uploading photos
