that's what I'm leaning towards...MSTRKRFT, then headin over to Amon. I've seen Digweed in the last 6-8 months. I've never seen Amon, and, for all I know, might not have the chance again for years. As much as I HATE to do it, I might wind up having to miss Digweed.

There is no comparison between both.

you're right...but I'm forced to compare now.

his myspace page lists it as 7:30...but also lists a few other people...maybe 12:30 is their guess for when he'll start...seems kinda late, though, since there're 4 other...actually, no, that's probably right...damnit.

also, his new album's out on the 6th...so I guess if it's atrocious, this might be a little easier.

I'm guessing he'll play at 12 30. I could be wrong,

I won't go so far as to say he's better than Digweed, but his Foley Room album is sicker than a Tijuana hooker.

Would that include Lizandro?

indeed. I'm leaning towards seeing him, though, 'cuz A) I'll probably be able to see Digweed again in 6 months to a year, while it's not like Amon Tobin North American tours just pop up every other season B) Amon probably won't play for nearly as long as Digweed, so I can just watch him for the hour or hour & a half, then head back to Sky & still catch the other half of the set.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

So good, and yet, omg wtf do I do?

Digweed or Amon?!?!?! Why such choices on my birthday?!?!@?!?!?!?!

the choice is Digweed. Amon is great, but all others are mere mortals standing before a God when Digweed's in the picture.

Though Amon is a rare act, might be worth seeing just for that reason.

Also if you felt like traveling you could catch one of the other 2 Digweed shows in Texas on a different night, and have that night free for Amon.

Well, I'm going to be in Austin the whole week anyways for SXSW, so that's out, so I'll probably just wind up having to hope that there's more to be heard once Amon's done, and I'd be quite surprised if there isn't, as he starts shortly after 12, and is playing live--he's not gonna play 3 hours of music. The only way I'd lose out completely is if Digweed goes on at or before 12 and plays for, say, 2 hours. The likelihood of that happening is slim, and if he did just that, I'd have rather seen Amon, anyways.
