There ain't nothing better to chill to than Ulrich Schnauss. He's coming with a new one sometime this year too.

Right. I didn't think about those, i didn't listen to Jump The Next Train or Like A Waterfall more than a few times. Originals are better, agreed.

Ambient is part of his formula but calling him an ambient musician is slightly misleading.

Most of Schnauss' work can hardly be classified as ambient. Downtempo is what it is, there's much better ambient producers out there.

I definitely recommend The Art of Chill Series as a great intro to chillout music. They feature chilled out remixes of some classic trance tracks.

highly recommend any thing of the Buddah bar title, specificly chillout paris 1 and 3 also Siddharta 1 and 2
