If you lower the volume on the youtube player the distortion isnt as bad, I edited the bad parts out though.

PvD did pretty damn good for 2 1/2hours. The $100 tix was crazy! But what can you do?

Overall a good night!

Hey I didn't post this ^

Eric post under your name next time LOL

Anyway PVD did a pretty good job...Didn't play as many ID tracks like last time he was in Miami, but still a really good night...except for playing poker...that was bad idea LOL

Here are a few other tracks I remember PVD playing...

Alex Morph and Rank 1 - Life Less Ordinary
Filo & Peri - The Anthem (PVD Rework)
Dave 202 Vs Sean Tyas - Torrent (Original Mix)
Cosmic Gate - Analog Feel (Rank 1 Remix)
Lange vs Gareth Emery - Another You Another Me (don't rememeber if it was original or Terranova and Austin Leeds Mix)
Lost World - A Life Elsewhere (Martin Roth Psy Remix)
Marco V - Any Better Or
Nic Chagall - What You Need (Hard Dub Reedit)

Thank you for recording and posting Jan's track. I linked him to it.

I was there with 3 friends, and i only paid 30$ a piece for our tickets...

I lol'd at the people outside in the cold waiting to pay 100$!! Overall it was a good set, alot of energy, and he kept it going the whole time. It was pretty packed while pvd was playing, and the rotating dancefloor was funny as hell. I got on it for a few and when it ended up shutting down i was rightin front of pvd hahah!

It was a good night, definately worth the trip. The DJ who opened for pvd was a joke. He was playin good tunes but should not of been playing the same exact music PVD was gonna play. He should of opened with some house or some more progressive tracks. Along with clacking some beats on basic mixing i was lmao at him. I told edgarV that he should be up there and he laughed. Edgar was coo as shit and even recognized me from the other 100x i've seen him.

As the 11th time i've seen PVD it was up there i the top 5 but prolly like #5. There were too many newbs tryin to get in my space and get in front of me. Every single person i talked to had never seen him b4 and they were like "how bout you?". It was funny to say 11.. I guess calling out the name of the song he was mixing in b4 he dropped it gave them a hint.

Yea yea yea, excuse me for not logging in on your laptop Mr. Ray Charles....

Anyway, the night wasn't bad at all. Here in Miami we are spoiled in the sense that most places on the beach close at 5am, and Space...well Space seems to never close! So it's weird to have the lights turn on at 2:45am. Some even suggested to drive back down to Miami and go to Space for afterhours on the patio I think the 4 hour drive (3 hours with Groove Gordon driving ) made us think otherwise LoL!

That last track he played, if I'm not mistaken was ID - ID!! Seriously tho, Doug and I looked at each other and said "He's playing it again! ID!!!" LoL It's a mashup of some track with the vocals from 'Probspot - Blows My Mind' It's f*ckin bad assssss!!

BTW...I thought I heard someone say this was broadcast on the radio; 93.3FM? Is this true? Anyone record it? I'm sure everyone would like to hear it again! Till the next one....

I think that Probspot track is the one I liked with the vocals..sweet track.

Amber, you are welcome!! That's why I took it

About the broadcast though, as far as I know they no longer do it, unless something changed? It could explain why they were on the mic a few times but they didnt speak as often if they were on the air. So I dont know.

Posted by habs24-7 on Feb-19-2007 22:04:

amp tends to broadcast on saturdays but thats when it's just their res dj Mondo (EK!)....however, I have no idea if they did for PVD. No FM radio at the place I was at

Im still highly debating, to see him WMC, I know I know its going to be packed. But if you think about how much more pack can it get??? Unless you dont have a tickets and you show up at 1 then your fucked!!!

well just got back from our tri, went to islands of adventure with some friends on sunday..

as for PVD he played pretty dam good! had some lulls here and there but def. not boring. dont know why everyone is crying about the 100 tics. they were up for sale for ages if u were to lazy to get them early u screwed up bad. i mean anyone who has gone to that town (ybor) can instanly see why the prices were so high the day of the show. YBOR CITY IS AS BORING AS WATCHING GRASS GROW and GANSTA AS HELL TO ! im sure most of the tics that were purchased at 100 were by locals who woulda paid 1000 to get a decent night worth of music . shit i woulda if i lived there

oh and the track with the vocals that me and eric freeked out on was
ID vs Probspot feat. Ben Lost - Blows My Mind, probably a mashup by the master himself. oh and he also played that track a the end of the night but minus the vocals. funny as hell with this track we looked at each other and said u got this one virtually simultaniously and then we said HELL NO cant find it anywhere almost at the same time , lmao

i got a bunch of video from that night i will post up later, its kinda bouncy cause i just got the camers so bare with me

good seeing coleen and friend as well as mr.groove and friends to

NYC crobar is not all that, in my DC trip I went to it and it alright. Really huge though...

If there one thing about PvD WMC, is the tickets. I wish I could keep mines, there really nice

my first trip to NYC I had dinner with all the NYTA's.

I was going to go to Crobar for some wack dj... *can't remember* but they all convinced me not to.
They had warned me of the type of ppl that would attend the club, so I decided to stay in.

Still wouldn't mind seeing someone like PvD over there.

You know that during conference @ trance events you can fall into a Godzilla movie right here in Miami as well.

Either way PVD rules. And with so many rumors about what will or will not happen with the 24-hour district I cannot see myself being crazy enough to miss PVD/Sander @ Space this year. Because who knows if that terrace will still be there in a couple of years.

I know, we should hurry while the 24hrs district is still around

I have been to PvD during WMC. And it was packed, but not as packed as when he was on the terrace. Only thing WMC, security is pain. But that doesnt seem to bother me, since I never look for trouble. Or try to do anything stupid. So im all for it...

Brent he's been closing his sets with his tracks in almost all of his sets all over, not just here. I didnt list half of the things he played compared to what Ivan listed. Yes its a partially different crowd but he played just as well here as he does anywhere, with the exception being the length of time. He played great in Orlando at Firestone as well back in October with the same set length.

What time are places open until in LA?

Posted by ClubGoddess on Feb-20-2007 04:01:

I forgot he also played Jonas Steur - Second Turn

Posted by neo geo on Feb-20-2007 05:17:

dude i only paid 50 for my tickets and i drove 10 hours for this show. I thought he did a killer set and it was well worth my drive.
