To be honest....the begginning of the morning was a waste of time for me. Nathan's set was good, although it was an opener....didn't really get banging. I think he should have come on right before entrena, and have Decoze open instead.

Wasn't impressed with Decoze, maybe a couple tracks here and there. But I am not one for disco sounds or diva lyrics.

So basically I sat until entrenna came on at 1:30. Entrenna was amazing! #1 Tribal DJ 2007. Already called.

And hope it was a Happy Birthday for our dear Cribby! xoxox loves you!

It has been a few weeks since i visited the euphoric realm known as "zone". OMzzzz I HAD A BLAST! Vinyl Junkies were incredible! Had me vibing through out the whole set! Joee Cons was mysterious and powerful! Eric Entrena...Lets just say thank you, come again....decent, but could have been tons better!

As for zone this Sunday! Danny Freakazoid! - this shall be a treat!

I have to disagree there.. it's not just drug fueled. But I will agree on it not being artistic...It's CZ tho. The music should be dirty.. How long were you there for? and who are you referring to? I dunno who was on this weekend...because the ones u need to watch out for in that place are:

Paranoid Jack
J-Prez
Vinyl Junkies
Carlo Lio
Nathan Barato

...these guys have some serious talent and some of the most amazing tracks....

I only heard Deko-Ze and the spanish dude.
Don't get me wrong, Michael's a great DJ, but even he knows the zone is the zone and that is what works.

Why would you say it's not drug-fueled?

i party sober there and the music is incredible. better than any other places i go to

I have partied there sober too. honestly.

That's your opinion but to each their own.....plenty of people have partied at the Zone sober and still agree it's the best music they've heard.

The Vinyl Junkies proved their talent yesterday by covering for Louis and still chugging out an awesome set for even longer, even Oscar G at Space wasn't able to do that when the headliner was late.

I was sober, and every tune I've ever heard at zone I've heard somewhere else before. lol Give me a break.

LOL sydney's set last night was a prime example

Nobody is saying that the music that is played at Zone is unique or original.

BUT... there is a certain type of House that is considered Zone Music. It's the harder, darker, dirtier house out there.

Zone also doesn't try to impress its patrons with lightshows or any of the fluff that you find at other clubs. They provide a venue where the music and the DJs are the main attraction. That's it.

Why do we all go to zone? The music! Because, for some reason, when your in that dark, dirty basement with your friends, those dirty fucking beats sound better than anywhere else in the city. Hands down.

...And if you've only been to Zone twice, you don't have a valid opinion of the place.
