Lots of good friends enjoying the company of hundreds of the city's finest ladies and gentlemen entertaining themselves in the noblest of fashions with such activities as the one foot hand up hop down, the "ohhhhhh" double fist wave and the bouncity bop march step. Personal highlights of the day... Pelvic Thrusting to the point of hurting testicles with Frank... Laura and Frase showing up after being written off completely... The skeleton outfit... The "very attractive" transvestite... Nada vs. Pat The Sequel... Jon arriving just in time to miss the party... Mickey Antenna rocking the mainroom... This weeks MVP Frase... Graham going you guys smell like carpet... Doing the world of zone world tour with stops in all rooms except juice bar number 6. Andrea's first time was a major success, upwards and onwards, Here's to friends! |

| Originally posted by Skipper The music at the zone is just entirely drug fueled. It's "dirty" - but there's nothing unique or artistic or interesting about it. I've only been to CZ twice and both times I would describe it as hours of grating electro house...it serves its purpose though. |
I only heard Deko-Ze and the spanish dude.
Don't get me wrong, Michael's a great DJ, but even he knows the zone is the zone and that is what works.
Why would you say it's not drug-fueled?

Nobody is saying that the music that is played at Zone is unique or original.
BUT... there is a certain type of House that is considered Zone Music. It's the harder, darker, dirtier house out there.
Zone also doesn't try to impress its patrons with lightshows or any of the fluff that you find at other clubs. They provide a venue where the music and the DJs are the main attraction. That's it.
Why do we all go to zone? The music! Because, for some reason, when your in that dark, dirty basement with your friends, those dirty fucking beats sound better than anywhere else in the city. Hands down.
...And if you've only been to Zone twice, you don't have a valid opinion of the place.
