There is no difference in which you purchase. I picked S, but there was a choice last year too and it didn't matter then either.

They are only doing 1 day this year since last year DV and Extrema were held on the same day and they lost money. They didn't sell out the usual 60k ppl they normally do and there were problems. UDC fired a whole bunch of ppl the following week of DV as well due to this. Now this year, DV and Extrema are working together and have agreed to do them one weekend right after the other.

The camping thing was only for the last 2 years, before that it was only on the Saturday. I have got to experience both and really as much as I hated camping, it was fun the past 2 years. Although I don't mind it going back to 1 day now as it gives you more time to go do other things or go out to other clubs on the Friday night.

MagikJenn: Does DV tend to sell out? I'm leaning towards waiting to get tickets until I'm over there, or even further into April (been spending a lot of money lately and don't want to leave myself short).

I'm guessing that you can get tickets almost right up to the event, but that may be different now with Extrema on a different weekend.

Dance Valley is definately one event you should not miss if travelling to Europe for the sole purpose of partying your asses off.

It was definately one of the most memorable experiences in 2006 for me. And for all those saying Ibiza + other parties is too much $$$...well I managed Ibiza + DV + World Cup + other parties in random cities all in one month and for only $5000 (including airfare) and that's not a lot of money at all. If your going there to party and have a time of your life, spending an extra grand should not stop you from going to Ibiza! Just plan out your trip wisely and before hand and you shouldn't have any problems, don't leave anything for last minute, anything and I mean anything can happen in Europe (ie. such as a train getting cancelled from paris to barcelona from where i was suppose to catch a flight to ibiza for the space opening party so i was a day late and missed from what i heard was a sickkk party. please shut up ryan!)

oh ya, tickets shouldn't be sold out for DV any time soon. but don't take chances since they changed the event this year to one day.

Vlad tell this to Cale! He still worries sometimes about how expensive Ibiza is gonna be in August and that we should make a trip some other time. How far in advance did you plan? And $5000 for the month? That's wicked. I wonder if Cale and I are overestimating. We averaged $7000-$8000 for the month of July + the first 2 weeks in August. (July = Holland, August = Ibiza)

Aside from club addimission the rest of the expenses (food, accommodation, transport) in Ibiza are pretty reasonably priced, even compared to other European cities.

You may be put off by cocktails being 15 Euro at clubs but if you pay attention to how much alcohol they pour into them. You'll realise it's a quadrouple shot! So not a bad deal at all really.

Make sure to get a place with a kitchen too.

It is progressive house, house and techno.
You will see DJ's like Sander K, 16 Bit, Sasha and Desyn.
Those are just a few of the guys that played there last year.

Last year Extrema sold out quickly...but if you guys will be there in April you should be ok to buy them then.. just keep your eyes open on the sites.. www.dancevalley.nl and www.extrema.nl

OMG.. yes, you need to make this happen
DV is about 30 min from A'dam. If you go to A'dam Central Station you just need to go to by train for about 7 min to get to A'dam Sloterdijk (3 euros), then the buses will be waiting to take you to Spaarnwoude where DV is held.

Ahhh....I would love it, but Cale definitely won't. So I think we'll probably pass on Extrema. I'll talk to him to make sure, but I can understand him not wanting to go if he doesn't like the tunes. It's not like in Toronto where he'd go to a party he doesn't like just b/c I want to go, he'd have to spend a decent amount of money for Extrema and then risking not enjoying himself. you can try http://www.ticketbank.co.uk/asp/default.asp as well. Friends of mine bought through there last year. Again, I don't know if they ship to Australia though and you are paying in Pounds instead of Euros.
