Pvd 2002 nov .. hands down the best set ive ever heard in that building. He opened with Taub

so many good times there! met all the TAs for the first time.. saw pvd for the first time.. tiesto too, actually. and armin. and ferry.
do they still do roller skating there? we should all go and say farewell. i never did go skating there. i guess that probably ended already.
NYC nightlife as we know it is comin to an end, and no one is really doin anything to stop this....... wat a shame! 
I will never forget my first time at Roxy. It was 2002 and I was new to the scene. Some KTU party was there, and figuring it was free on clubplanet guestlist and I had never been there, why not. ROTF. So Vic Latino announces, "We have a a cash $1000 giveaway and a free trip to Carribean for the hottest lady in here." So some girls go up on stage and start dancing. All of a sudden, one takes top off. Then some other one was up there in nothing but her underwear. All of a sudden, this black girl runs up on stage, takes off both bra and panties and goes buckwild in front of everyone. She ended up winning the prize. The other girls were pissed cause they ended up being topless for nothing and didnt even win the prize. LMFAO. I didnt really go for the music or anything(I think arc was closed that time due to DJs being in Ibiza and this was right after Vinyl became Arc), just to check out the venue, but it was funny seeing this shit happen. ROTF.

My first time at ROXY was also in 2002 (I think that was the year) at armin....I barely knew who he was. I randomly met Andrew (AYSTAR)there. I was super tired because I had just gotten off the plane frmo spring break, but wanted to check this "armin- guy" out. I had never partied in NYC before and didn't know what to expect (this was my toronto dayzz). I had SUCH a great time that night, and people were going NUTS to armin...never seen anything like it...I was getting trampled.
I was in the front row with andrew and he was like "I think armin is staring at you." I was like "uh-huh sure...who cares?" lol (ps this was back in my hot days when I was like an athelete in college and blond, etc, lol) So he tells me to do something to see if he is looking at me. So, I decide to blow him a kiss. Armin "catches" my kiss in the air, puts it on his cheek, and blows me one back.
lol the funny thing was, that I didn't even give a shit. I was like, "there you go Andrew, he's looking at me, are you satisfied???" Now lets DANCE!!!! Boy, if I only knew!!

haha if I can even FIND one!! All my pics are in albums or on my computer at home (me and the man share his computer now since we live together......) If I find one, particularly of the Guv days or me visiting nyc during the times of ROXY....maybe.

Walking out of the Roxy at 7am after seeing PvD or Armin will always be special memories for me. The Roxy will be missed.

had good times at the roxy, but not gonna miss it at all
The first of many parties I went to at Roxy was in 2001 for Johnny Vicious. I believe it was his birthday. Back then every party seemed like a great one even though compared to clubs now it was just a sweatbox with a low cieling and ridiculous bathroom line for the girls.
While reminiscing I re-posted some pics of these parties. There are some old ones of Jay, Lyss, Drew, Brian(Kidnyce) lol I wore a Superman tank top and UFO's to one party... Yeah, I was a little different then. These are the more 'sober' pics
