Since we're not talking about trance djs anymore, how about Dj Marusha??? Sonique??? Dj Rap??? it's funny all the Dj's who have the first name Lisa, Lisa Loud, Lisa Lashes, Lisa Pinup... but still it's sad how it's hard to even name a few female djs when you can name over a hundred males... there maybe a lot more low profile woman djs but I bet guys still dominate this field.. this is good in a way, there's lots of room for girls to make a difference, I think the future will be different...

latez...

Just clearing something up:

"the woman in faithless" is indeed Sister Bliss, which some years ago spun at The Gallery in London along with Tall Paul. I thought she was pretty decent, but then again I was kind of overwhelmed by the club...

And secondly: Storm *is* Mark Spoon & Jam El Mar, not a woman. However, it may be possible that some female dj out there has used the name - after all Yomanda took his name from old Jomanda (remember them/him/her?).

Tripsy: Hehe, exactly. Emotion always rocks the place, no matter what style she choses to play. She can absolutely hold her own behind the decks.
On another note, it is really harsh that Lisa Lashes won't be coming to Canada anytime soon (or US for that matter) after getting busted for posession (I think she had some MDMA on her) ...
