first time at aria tomorrow.. we'll see (but I was really unimpressed with Sona)

HAHAHAHAHAHA...Comparing Aria to a dirty factory warehouse and saying Sona is better, I think someone must have played a prak on you, brought you to both clubs and reversed the names, either that or you were on quite the potent shit at Sona to find it cleaner, and less warehousy then Aria. I'm not a Sona hater, I've had some amazing parties at that place since '98, but to go as far to say it kills Aria, is just crazyness.

well, i can assure you that Atomic is 110% NOT re-opening.

as for Ottawa not having the Morillos' Winks' and Collins'...wait til you see who'll be at Blueprint@The Well on Saturday, May 18th. Blows Morillo and Wink out of the water...maybe not as world-renknowned as Sandra, but right up there for sure...

Looks like I may be checking out THE WELL on Sat April 27th. Would be cool if other Ottawa TA's would be in attendance.

Also, anyone heard of the new PYRAMID nightclub (the old ATOMIC)that just opened? I just heard an add about it on the radio. I'm trying to gage what type of music will be playing there.

What's the crowd like at the Well?

I think I've already post my question on that thread but anyways
I'm coming to Ottawa in may... for a weekend...
what are the good clubs for a TA... any after left ? I heard they all closed down.

Illusions closed down a while back. A guy from work said he went to one 2 weeks ago in a place next to On Tap. I've been to On Tap 3 million times and I've never noticed any afterhours place.

My question is the same - what are the after hour places here in ottawa?

Ya there is one place beside ontop. I dont know what its called..I thought that was illusions hmm Its right there in the building I just dont remember the name. Dont know much about it.I really dont know any afterhours in ottawa. The well is probably the most popular. Illusions and atomic were two others. But everything is pretty much dead here. Horrible place to party if you ask me.

That place near On Tap, is that the black building to the left of Ontap? Is it behind OnTap or what?

the enterance is to the right of On Tap. Right where the front patio is set up in the summer. There is a little set of stairs going up and you should see a sign. It used to be called The Show and now its called Surface.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It used to be The Show! I've been there a couple of times. I guess On Tap won't be having any 3 in 1 bars anymore.

I gotta check out this Surface place. Stop off at On Tap, have a few. Go next door to the strip joint, then go next door yet again and hit The Surface :-)

This is coming staright from the Blueprint orginizer, Brad Copeland :

Due to other promoters he was booked by cancelling dates on his tour, the whole tour is now cancelled. its very unfortunate that this happened, but theres not much that can be done at this point... so is there anyone from ottawa heading up to toronto this wednesday for Judge Jules?

A bit too fromage for a 4 � hour drive. Last time he was in Mtl, people were very disappointed.
