very nice ep
im sorry i just couldnt get into either cd at all. its not bad, but its not something i was expecting. its just a little too slow for me is all. i dunno, im probably just crazy. but i really dug zabs and nic about 2 summers ago, this stuff, eh, to each their own.
so they showed up yesterday, and
Love both discs. Some absolutely delectable tunes on both, and I actually like the different style, with the two of them together. There are still some touches of the signature JZness, but they're a bit more well-integrated than they have been in the past, IMO.
The music's great, the mixing is spot-on, and it moves across several genres, regardless of what you want to label each of them as. What more do you want?
this is really really good stuff. both discs are amazing. can't wait to see them live!

I'm just going to go ahead & reiterate how much I love both these discs. They've only gotten better and better with each listen (and I can't even count the number of times I've listened to each by now). As for that little Giv Me Luv/Erotic Discourse number, I absolutely LOVE the two of them together. That part is so well done, especially in context and with the way that they wove both of them into the tracks around those two. It's simply wonderful.

Both tracks up at Beatport

| Originally posted by RJT In retrospect, I really don't agree with this assertion. The beginning of the disc is amazing, but the end makes absolutely no sense. The last 20 minutes feel so out of place it hurts, it genuinely feels like the set starts over or resets and then does something different for the last little bit. It's still good, but it's definitely not at all brilliant - I hope the second disc brings me back. |

Listening to disc 1 now... nice flow. very chilled fusion of deep house & electro. i could have mistaken this for a GU if I hadn't have known it was One+One.
James Zabiela - Human (One+One Version) is fkn bliss!

after 2nd listen to cd1 i agree with the previous comments about the last 20 mins.
I havta say, its a refreshing change as far as my taste goes (although I've always enjoyed Zabiela anyway). The sounds are just the opposite as to what I normally *shake it* to! Goin to see these guys in a few weeks.
No Pressure isn't bad
Rover is less than mediocre
I can't believe that people's tastes have been watered down by the relentless onslaught of garbage music to an extent that this is considered great music.
It's rare when two artists of this caliber start working to such an extended level together, starting a new duo, a new label, touring together - so I expected something really special.
This has been a large disappointment
Disc 2 Now this is more of what I was expecting from the boys. The first half is rockin, funky, robophobic madness. The last half slows the tempo down a bit and cruises through till close. Deadmau5 Faxing Berlin is my pick of CD 2. No Pressure is pretty sweet too.
Glad some of you are digging it,
thanks for all the comments guys
