Last night 680 news was going on and on and on about how "treacherous" the roads currently are (4am)... i did a round trip up the dvp, across the 401 up the 427 to the airport, back down 427 to gardiner and then back to beaches in about an hour.... opp says stay home? wtf, all there was was puddles

I'm off but not because of the weather, I had the strangest bug yesterday that practically paralysed my whole body. I was lucky that someone came to take care of me but I couldn't even walk to the bathroom for a few hours there, pretty scary.

I still don't feel fabulous but I am infinitely better. I can smell burning in my nostrils and nothing else, very strange.

didn't have a choice in the matter. 14 hydro poles fell down last night and the power just came back on 20 minutes ago.. paid vacation w00t..

downside - now have to go in on saturday and catch up, but with no help..

No. I went to work. But i did get my car stuck in my driveway trying to GET to work, bc I was hoping to be lazy and not snowblow the driveway. That didnt work. Had to do it afterwards.

Was an hour late for work. That sucked.

LMAo at not wanting to ruin "my stylish new pumas" Steve would definitely choose that one.

I unfortunately had to go to work.
Just got home about a half hour ago.

If I'd chosen to stay home, it would have been due to all the fucktards on the road, not the weather itself. Yes, I know it's just rain, and the roads were emptier than usual, but the people on them were still driving 40 in the left lane with their blinkers on. Actually, the trucks were the worst - one of them somehow managed to skid right on the exit off the 400 and diagonally blocked all 4 lanes. The fucking idiot spent 5 minutes trying to straighten himself out while his partner got out of the car and waved frantically.

I didn't stay home, though. Far, far too many projects to finish to warrant taking a day off. And the weather was no big deal, it was actually above zero for most of the day.

It's not that bad.
Last night we had an office party. Many drinks were consumed.
Friday morning is when we separate the rookies from the pros.
It was nice to show up at a quiet office and read everyone elses excuse for staying home, working at home, day off,ect...
Friday is here and I am getting ready to party...

Later.
