Islam is like every other religion, it's for morons. I believe I went over religion before. It's for weak human beings, and morons. Islam has no shortage of morons, nor does Judaism, Christianity, Wicka(most morons per square foot), Hindu, etc. They are all morons.
Having said that, I find no shortage of really nice muslims. Just because I find your belief system ignorant, reprehensible, and hypocritical, doesn't mean that I can't look past those obvious faults within your character and become a close friend, perhaps, dare I say, lover.
That, ofcourse, doesn't detract from the number of non-religious morons out there, but the important thing to remember is that there is an innate moronic characteristic found within religion, and that a person simply has a better chance of not being a moron if they are non-religious.
So, if there are any ignorant, reprehensible, hypocritical, moronic, weak-minded female muslims out there that want to hit the zone on any given Sabbath, let me know.

Islam is a beautiful religion if you don't pay attention to the bomb sex.

Am Studying in College station, Texas..... with redknecks.
Everyday I have to go through with people calling me " terrorist " in a joking way. Well, a joke isnt funny when u hear it once every week is it ?
^^^^^^^^^^^
I don't deny anyones' right to practice those beliefs, nor do I, in most instances, openly project my thoughts of those who practice religion; however, this is close enough to a thread that asks my opinion of those groups, so I have expressed said views, albeit, in a purposefully obnoxious fashion.
I have had to make the link to all groups, otherwise, I could be perceived as anti-fill-in-the-blank.
The real point I was attempting to get across by using that particular tone was that agnostics and atheists through out history are openly chastized for their beliefs, or rather, disbeliefs. It was a lude attempt at making a non-religious religious holier than thou style speach(if that even makes sense) that, in my opinion, most religious people tend to dismiss as acceptable. I just thought it was funny to have a non-believer denounce every other belief in the same fashion as a religious zealot would.

| Originally posted by misterpink by taking this tone, I'm not trying to control your thoughts, but rather, force you to think...I believe in there somewhere is the idea that you're welcome to think and do what you want... it's my right to call you a moron for it... |

Do you really think that you're the first genius to come up with the notion that religion is a construct made to subdue people's fears, deal with their insecurities and absolve them of personal responsibility? And that it's not something that the more intelligent of the religious have answered for themselves? I am not religious myself, but what I find more annoying than the dogmatic Christian evangelicals are the dogmatic atheists... at least the former can be entertaining. |

Well, Astroboy, I'll let you know that I see your point...sometimes I forget that a comedic tone is sometimes lost when transfering it into print.
I do agree with just about any religion in that they are almost always based on teachings of respect, goodwill, common coutesy, friendliness, love for all people, etc. Their books are usually filled with a lifetimes worth of lessons and wisdom that many people could do with learning. It seems a cruel irony that those religions are sometimes twisted and used to manipulate those who support them.
I hope I didn't offend you too much, as too much of anything is bad.
