What time does Blake go on? I don't want to suffer through those opening DJs.

Blake should be coming on around midnight till close.

However i'd' have to disagree on the opening dj's. Though most of you might not have heard of them, they have talent as well. Give them a chance. Especially DJ Journey who opened as a part of the Sandra Collins/Trent Cantrelle show in Milwaukee at the Rave a few months back.

Maybe it's just that I'm turned off by gimmicky, PLURiffic names like that.

I can understand that. Journey's name is actually his real name spelled Jerny. Nonetheless despite some of the gimmicky names, I would recommend you to check out some of the opening sets because I think you would enjoy them. Nonetheless if you just catch Blake we do appreciate that as well.

I know Blake & Topher's mix got a lot of play worldwide, but I swear to God, if I have to hear Snow Patrol one more time, I'm going to have to choke-a-bitch.

Im happy to say that, apart from hearing it at very low volume at a store or something, or one on occasion at the MCd's early Sunday morning, Ive never heard the original. I never listen to the radio.

Between Blake & Tophers mix and the ridiculous amount of play the original has gotten on commercials, TV, radio, etc., I've just absolutely had it with those vocals (which is really the only part I don't care for).

It's really rather like nails on a chalkboard every time I hear them; I cringe, hard.

I had a good laugh at that one.

so I am thinking of getting a hotel room at Ambassador for the evening. It's across the street from the Rave! http://www.ambassadormilwaukee.com

I just realized that the next day is Easter Sunday and I'll have an even longer drive to see the family from Milwaukee.

so who is in?

you can crash at the house if you don't wanna spend the dough on a hotel. otherwise if you'd rather not lay on a multiple-bodily-fluid-laden futon i'm sure rob & myra can oblige. (not to automatically volunteer them or anything..)
