Just a question...how the fuck do you know who has been to clubs/live events? 75-90%??? what do you base this on? Im a big Tiesto fan and I listen to just about every sort of music you could find (electronic and not) - how do you know he's all these guys listen to? This is the most arrogant post I've seen around here yet....congratulations!

i think the reason tiesto is so famous is he is known by everyone not only trance fans. however non trance fans dont have a clue who is dumonde or rank1.

Tiesto is not the best performing dj. I think live acts count in judging dj's more then any other aspect of a dj.

Its just like a singer or a band, how da fuck u gonna be da best if you cant sing worth shit live???... and if you cant, your bound to get flamed on... I'm not saying Tiesto cant mix worth shit... but there are others that have put together a much better mixing skit then tiesto has.

PvD live vs. Tiesto live, Tiesto doesn't come close. PVD's performance's are so much more genuine and solid. Anyone who's seen them both spin knows what im talking about.

I know what dumonde trancer is trying to say. There is a lot of people who like to state the obvious. We all know that tiesto and pvd are 2 of the top djs in the world, if not they top 2 djs. But we know that, the whole forum knows it. So why do we need to be told it by a milion threads day in, day out.

I'd say Ferry Corsten (my pick) but this is all subjective so my opinion doesn't do much anyways.

I have, for the last four years collected almost 400 livesets from the biggest parties around the world and after summing everything up, I have come to the conclusion that Tiesto is the best. His tracklisting is amazing,, the crowd reactions are louder, and he maintains this unique energy throughout his sets that captivates me and many others on this forum. I have also seen him and many other dj's live, and from them, tiesto has lived up to his name. So before you bash people who praise Tiesto, please give them a coherent answer as to why they should be bashed. And dont utilize "cheeze" trance as your answer. If tiesto was "cheeze" almost every trance Dj would be the same, seeing that they play the same, if not similar trance songs. PLease listen to Tiesto Live @ Helaas Geen and then tell me if that's "cheeze".

P.S Dumonde are excellent artists (and i have 40 of their live sets, but they carry the same "dumonde" sound that gets tiring... therefore TIESTO IS GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

400 livesets, impressive, but have you actually been to a live tiesto event? Otherwise it is hard to have a true opinion But your opinions is exactly that yours, and we can only question why

So, being this a Trance forum, I don't think that so many people, who are in a constant contact with the scene, could be wrong.

i was surprised at how good matt hardwick is, check out his EM it was pretty good, take a look at the tracklist, looks good to me

everybody knows tiesto is good, this thread is pointless, no need to call people retards if they dont think tiesto is god. if i only listened to dj tiesto all the time id get bored so respect other djs, they provide some variety.

one of my favorites is M.I.K.E, i've never seen him live or even heard a set from him, but i love his productions
