It was a decent crowd, not too crazy since the back stage was opened up for Jes. Enjoyed ourselves a bit for Mike's set, a few of us got tired or too wasted to stay any longer *cough* lrcn *cough*.

the crowd size was decent as stated above. once they open that back room though any size crowd seems to get swallowed up. it was great to see jes although i really don't think circus is set up for live performances, their voices get lost in the giant space. she is super nice and talked to tons of people and took pics. she stuck around it seemed like forever.
mike was fun and had a great flow to his set like the last time he was here in LA. i danced alot and had a great time. he played some old school tunes as well as some new ones. he only played for 2 hours though, i guess due to the time change. he was like, but i have so many more tracks left!!! oh well, next time mike, next time.
the after party was crazy as usual but so much fun. it's hard for me to ever just go home and sleep after a night out since i'm so energized from the night of fun. plus i had an early, no going out night on friday so i was ready to play all night saturday. so great to see all the usual TA's. everywhere i looked friendly familiar faces which is so nice. i feel though that the vibe has been somewhat lost and broken up. i truly miss the circus with spundae attached. now that spundae is at avalon, the vibe just isn't quite there yet either. i know, give it time, what am i complaining about, i can't even make up my mind these days with all that is going on at the 3 super clubs as it is. but still, i miss it.
LA needs to book mike more though. he told me that he will be spinning with jOOf and SVD next month in London! man i wish i could hope on a plane and attend that!!! could you imagine that line up????
i would die! i told him to tell john to get his butt back to LA. it's been since october!!!
btw, i forgot to get the rockin quesidilla at circus and that's all i thought about after i left

I had forgotten about the time change (I was sticking to the old time) when I realized that my so-called other half had to be at work in a couple of hours (new time change) and so I took off. When I was home, I realized I was missing something! 
Oh well, I really wasn't hungry anyway.
