His techno produtions, although not to my personal liking, are fairly decent. Having said that, Funkytech funkytime is one of the most horrid wastes of vinyl ever to be released. I mostly blame Fergie, though.
I don't care for his 'trance' productions.

Allrighty then. I feel you on that one.. But there are exceptions IMO this is one of them.. I've always despised raping samples but there are good reworks too. Just as long as we respect the originals!
A good example could be Proper Education? I own every last Floyd album and i was HORRIFIED when i heard that Eric's come out with a remix, but still.. it's ok.
Techno please ...
When I saw him last October, he had his Meganite posse with him, played a pretty banging set of hard techy tracks, played a few of his cheesy classics, then threw in some minimal toward the end which kind of ruined the energy level he started with. Overall, a good show, but like Chesco said, Mauro's lost a lot of respect for making his parmesan trance. I can't say that I don't like it because his trance tracks were the gateway drug to EDM for a lot of people, myself included.
But I definitley think he's a better, more capable techno producer.

Techno. Pandoro. Plus Mauro hasnt produced trance in 7-8 years.
IMO...Better pre Meganite...
Personally...I love the guy no matter what he pumps out...but I like the pre Meganite tracks better myself.

Mauro is one of the most talented DJ's IMO. You HAVE to see him perform live, putting some classics in his set. And he has produced more than 250 tracks I think. Who can beat that...

Come to think of it
i have to agree that his techno is better than his trance
I just love those spacey pads he uses and that poppy synth. Plus, his Megavoices remix of Techno Harmony was breathtaking.
I saw him dj in San Diego once. It was great. One of the best djs I've ever seen. He does a reallly great job at messing with all the knobs on the mixer. Really makes the music that he plays seem so much better than when djs just put on a record and let it play. even in his recorded mixes that I've heard he does this. Excellent dj and producer i might add.
I consider him a techi-ish dj though. same goes for his productions.
