you're a joke

Where did he say Armin's career sucks? Going by those track titles, he's calling Armin a Goldigger.

oh jesus that track is awful...also sounds pretty bad produced...and not well mastered at all

Posted by Djshortcircuit on Mar-07-2007 20:09:

I didnt like it at first, but now listening to it a couple times, I like it. I think everyones bashing it because its different from what tiesto has been making. I could be wrong. It took some time to grow on me but i like it now. The sh*tty quality doesnt help. Just have to wait for the release. And ten secs to sunrise!

I havne't liked a Tiesto production in a while and according to the reviews in this thread I don't think I will change my mind.

I'm not bashing it because it's Tisto, my opinion is that it's a horrible song, horrible production and it's horribly mastered...

that's about all I don't like about it...everything else is just great.

tiesto is going for radio plays and money with this kinda stuff.

it's a shame. he's ruining all the respect he gained for what he did until 2003.

can you belive he used to produce tracks like "suburban train"?

nah, I still believe these classics were produced by someone else

Cheesy vocals mixed very loud, cheesy poppy production, cheesy melodies, horrible tune. And how does it have anything to do with rock or punk? Or trance? Usually when i hear something like this it means there is a radio i'm about to turn off.

A lot of Tisto tracks (especially the commercial ones) seem to lack substance, which is the case again here. If you remove the vocals, there's hardly anything left in the track, whereas Good For Me or any other A&B production can function perfectly without them.

I agree with the latter part of your first post though, I'd take a Tisto album over a Pvd or AvB album any day.

yea i agree. "good for me" especially, i think thats a prime example of wat a good trance track with vocals these days can still be executed brilliantly. but this track is just vocals the whole fucking time with a very simple melody in the background, there is no build ups, no breaks, no fucking nothing just the same monotonous tune the whole time and it gets tired quickly.

hes saying his productions are shit, hence "wall of sound" and "golddigger" not that hes not successful.

dumb ****

Maybe I'm just hanging on to a thread here but it does say radio edit in the title, and we all know how horrible those are.
Maybe the extended version will be a bit better, but I'm looking forward to the rest of the album.

Posted by the gamemaster on Mar-08-2007 08:35:

maybe this is just the "just be" of elements of life and there will also be an equivalent of say a walking on clouds or sweet misery (if u know wat i mean), just better lol

Posted by arten on Mar-08-2007 08:52:

I guess Carl B Remix of this will suit me more?

Posted by ionstorm on Mar-08-2007 10:07:

Hm... I don't like it that much, mainly because of the vocals. I generally don't like vocal trance, mainly cuz it distracts from the main melodies...

I just dont like the general trend to vocal trance, Tiestos ISOS 5 was already full of vocal songs :|

WHY DO PEOPLE WANT TO LISTEN TO VOCAL TRANCE?!?!?

Posted by the gamemaster on Mar-08-2007 10:18:

the only tracks that ive ever liked with a very heavy focus on the vocals are some delerium remixes and luminary's productions. other than that its usually shit

Posted by Ultravibe! on Mar-08-2007 10:46:

Not bad, as long as you don't expect a trance trance like Carl B makes em.

I didnt expect Carl B trance and still didnt like it at all.

Well i skipped it through abit, vocals not 2 well, and rest is also sucky, and the peak of it aint really that good, sounds to me like a production of a week, just sing in the vocals, use a beat that matches it abit and the rest is just put abit together, just rubbish.
