Yea I think I started djing when I was 21 er so. And I still made it to the big times.
The only person I know with any regrets about not starting sooner was a friend of mine who only really got into clubbing in her mid 20s (a few years ago), so missed the "golden years" (98, 99, etc) when she would have been old enough to go out clubbing to it (where as I was a mere 13 at the time so had no hope haha)...
But as I say, that was a regret about not getting into clubbing that young, not DJing. Definitely not too old to start - all you can do now is try extra hard to make up for the years you've missed! Not that starting at 19 is really missing out, I'm 21 and I haven't really got anywhere haha (well, I'm playing out regularly at quite big events but it's not as if I'm headlining Cream @ Amnesia now issit?)
I don't think there is ever an age limit on having fun.
19 is too late? Are you serious? What age did you think to start at early? 5? Don't worry, you have plenty of time. I started when I was 23 and now I'm close to turning 27. There is no age limit to DJ. Besides, if you're under 18, you wont be allowed to spin at most clubs.

YOOOO EVERYONE! haven't been tranceaddict in a while, and i'd like to thank everyone for their input and motivation. I think this summer i'll definatelty work a few extra shifts and buy some gear.
P.S. Tranceaddicts are the coolest ppl ever!
If it makes you feel any better, I just picked it up in the last year and I'm about to turn 35(August). I haven't had too much time to practice and I am COMPLETELY self taught but, I just played out at a friends party and some people were actually asking me for a card. I didn't have one but it was an encouraging sign. I'm hoping that I can play out some more at friends parties to continue to get practice and work out the nerves.
Bottom line is, if I'm not to old, then you surely aren't.
