Posted by lcid on Mar-08-2007 19:55:

imagine the look on someone's face if you actually called and used that as an excuse for not coming in to work.

Posted by jdat on Mar-08-2007 19:57:

You are all sick f*cks!

That's not even remotely funny

and while we're on the subject...do you guys think it's rude if someone goes with u as your date to a party and they hit on other girls? like even if it's just a friendly date? i honestly think he just likes to push my buttons and see if i'll get jealous but he asked me this and i was just like

That sounds moronic to me. In France asking out a girl means "voulez-vous couchez avec moi ce soir?".

Nothing wrong with a little flirting but anything over and above that is a no no in my book. Heck I flirt with some of my married friends wifeys all the time but it's all fun and games ( actually no game .. but whatever ).

He is going with you and it would be disrespectful to you I think if he tried to score some patch while you were both touring another island.

that's kinda disrespectful, in my eyes. i mean it's one thing to be flirty and friendly with other girls... but if he's actively trying to hook up with other girls and totally ignoring you, that's pretty fucked up. it's a friendly date but it's still a date. you wouldn't ask your friend to go to the movies then totally ditch them to sit with someone else, ya know?

that's what i said. what we have is very casual and friendly, but
i told him that it's just a matter of respect. i said that i would probably be a little jealous and that it makes me look like a jackass if i'm standing there while he's getting numbers. he agreed that he would keep it playful and fun and that he would never disrespect me.

i told him that i don't care if we're just friends or not...do that on your own time, not right in my face when you're MY date. i honestly think he likes to test me...maybe he's a little insecure or something. last night he was making me promise i'm going to meet his mom when she comes in march

sounds like he's got a crush and he's tryin' to hook you in...

i have no idea what he has up his sleeve, but he is absolutely girl crazy. he loves women and he's very in tune with them. it's part of his charm. i knew this since day one so i've kept myself emotionally distant, but it's hard sometimes because he's so damn cute and funny...even when he's being a brat and trying to make me jealous.

i give it right back to him though. earlier when i invited him, i told him i wish i had gone through his closet when i was at his place yesterday so i could help him decide what to wear cuz he keeps asking me. and he was like, "u should have asked me sooner" and i was like, "well i had already asked 2 people ahead of u and they ended up not being able to go, so u were my 3rd choice"

he got so pissed and then i was like, "haha just playin"

we're like 2 damn 5 year olds half the time

I like the first one too.

Actually, I want it!

Posted by XaNaX on Mar-08-2007 20:39:

Your excuse is too fucking complex, it would be easy to slip and forget it if you are asked about it later. Just call in sick, nobody is going to argue with you or ask for details if you tell them you have a 'stomach bug'.

And go with the first dress

Posted by Slylee on Mar-08-2007 20:42:

i know i like the first one too. it's brown/off white so my gold shoes would look good with it right?

and too late w/ the excuse. i already got one started. i think it's a decent one. day job > 2nd job in terms of priority and importance and they know that.

Yeah your gold shoes would look good with it and lol at you asking a guy if a pair of shoes would go with a particular dress color. You are really rolling the dice there

Thats what I get for not reading the whole thread, thats better if it works there is no lying involved.

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Mar-08-2007 21:13:

i say you were this outfit:

with your "ho" shoes.

now all you need is a nice crack whip, and you're set and ready to go to party hardy!

Posted by jdat on Mar-08-2007 21:26:

you could tell your date that if he behaves himself not hitting on other females while at the party you will have a surprise for him at the end!

you choose the surprise ( I'm not suggesting anything in particular so don't get any bad ideas here lol )
