last pairs of jeans I bought were about 130 and 160 $ ( APC, Helmut Lang )

What fit APC did you get? I have a pair of nudie RRDS and I love the fit, but I love how the APC's fade. I might consider getting a pair.. What's the RRDS equivalent fit for APC?

I hope you aren't planning to spend that much money on jeans and actually wear them out in public.

Posted by the gamemaster on Mar-10-2007 03:55:

well why the fuck would u wear jeans in the house when there are far more comfortable options, if fashion isnt important to u (which clearly it cant be here)

Wear them out in public like ... amongst other human beings? Would you ever wear $20 jeans for anything other than hog wrestling or garbage removal?

Apparently my commentary on his horribly cheap taste totally missed.

HAHA i was mistakenly thinking you meant spending $150 and not wearing them out in public. oops.

then yes i agree..$20 jeans = total shit. dont look right, fit right, ugly look, shitty cut, shitty material etc.

Posted by the gamemaster on Mar-10-2007 04:38:

obviously hes one of those people who dont give the shit about things like looking like absolute shit

Who the fuck wears clothing in the house?

Posted by mezzir on Mar-10-2007 08:14:

while paying anything over 60 bucks for jeans in my opinion is a big fucking waste of money...you can usually find the perfect pair for about 40
i got a pair of calvin klein jeans right now that i've had and worn constantly for probably 3-4 years now
here's the great part, they're slightly faded in the front, to the point where they almost look like designer jeans or some shit, and its cause i actually do shit in them. also without a doubt the most comfortable single piece of clothing i own
calvin klein ftmfw

ninja: just remembered when i bought them. i got them on sale, payed about 25 iirc. so yeah...shop around

Clearly no one in here has ever tried Paper denim. Arguably some of the best jeans for tall guys. I'm 6'2" and 170 pounds, I have a 34" waist and every single pair of jeans I've ever bought have been slightly too short...except for Paper's. They're perfect. I strongly suggest you look into them.

noted...as long as they're not 7 skinny. Girls love 'em, but I don't think any guys should wear them. Then again, go ahead. It just makes everyone else look better.

No way. They have a few different cuts, but I don't believe any of them are too skinny. I own two pairs, one is a little more fitted, and I think I shrunk them a bit so I don't wear them anymore The other isn't fitted, it's more relaxed with a boot cut. But the material, wash, and color is so unique, I wear them all the time.

I ain't no denim n00b

I got some Paper denim and they're good stuff yet not too pricey

Diesel and Gstar are by far make the best jeans from my experience.

However the price range your asking I don't think you'll get a decent pair in unless somehow you pick something up in a sale.

Posted by Omega_Blue on Mar-10-2007 10:52:

there's no way i'd spend $80+ on a pair of pants. call me cheap, but all that designer shit ends up ripping/getting fucked up quicker than a $30 pair anyways.

Diesel jeans last a long time providing your not wearing them on a daily basis.

It's worth investing on a decent pair of jeans IMO.

I swear by the thread title I assumed it was another Slylee Indecision post.

gstar are easily the most overpriced jeans ever, actually gstar is the most overpriced brand ever. they really are just a mass produced mainstream brand which dont do anything out of the ordinary and dont have much quality in terms of the designs, the cuts or the wear for their price.

dont get gstar, their are far better ways to spend your money. if you want to spend that much on jeans go for tsubi or nudie.

lol i honestly thought the same thing

i'm fine with cheap pacsun brand pants, bullhead etc etc, they only cost $40 or so and they last forever.. i work in a factory crawling around on trains all day and my old pairs still hold up even now

haha not true. im pretty hard on clothes and the $30 jeans fall apart, look like shit, have horrible fit, and dont feel the way i like my jeans to feel.

paper denims are nice but they arent sold in as many places. a bit harder to find than say seven and diesel. but they are very nice jeans.
