Uh he's one of people's first trance producers that a lot of people people got into. His productios go back to 1992 with tracks under the name "Visions Of Shiva" that he worked on with Cosmic Baby, often thought of as a pioneer in the genre. Both he and Cosmic Baby are thought of as innovators in the sound, and helped make melodic, progressive trance popular. PvD really made it popular with his DJ sets, albums and singles. He's one of the top-selling trance DJs and producers in the world.

Yeah, and as late as 1999/2000 he was still great with Another Way, Out There And Back etc.

Yeah I loved those tracks. But now he kinda sucks. I wish he would get back to his roots. He's gone...pop, like Chicane has. He's using too many vocals in his new tracks...I didn't mind the more subtle use of vocals that he used in say "Together We Will Conquer" or "Tell Me Why (The Riddle)".

you probably havent heard anything of his that we are talking about. he was one of the pioneers of trance in germany back in the day when it exploded and has been producing tracks since about 91 or 92 (as mentioned) and they were all quality up until about 02 when he started to go to shit...imo.

Why do you have to list all the artists you can think of? The purpose of the thread was to see which 10 producers ppl here like the most.
