I think I've driven past a road sign for it, actually.

My personal favourite was "I Can't Wait Till This Road Turns Into Two Lanes So I Can Pass This Stupid Fuck.". That feeling totally needed a song.

Yeah, that genre is used for interviews and such.

But notice this:

Style: Math Rock, Industrial, Ambient, Free Jazz, Field Recording, Abstract, Space Rock, Avantgarde, Rhythmic Noise, Art Rock, Black Metal, Psychedelic Rock, Noise, Free Improvisation, Musique Concrte, Future Jazz, Acoustic, Power Electronics, Doom Metal, Lo-Fi, Experimental

Posted by GrimReaper on Mar-14-2007 20:38:

I know what most of those are but what the heck are math rock and musique concrete? Funnily that is suppose to have everything from ambient to future jazz to psy rock to power electronics,.. all just in 6 tracks? "Interesting".

Musique Concrete is music built out of real-world sounds.

'math rock' basically involves music being written based on complex mathematical sequences, over the top of obscure ever-changing time signatures

it's a little known subgenre of 'pretentious rock'.. being itself a subgenre of 'shit rock'
