Hahaha, I have a pretty shitty one:

Creative Muvo Slim 512 MB

I've had it for years now, and it used to work perfectly. Now for some reason, I cannot turn it on. The only way I can do that is by plugging it into my USB port, letting it charge, and then unplugging it a certain way.

Also I have this piece of junk (in grey):

This holds only about 35 tracks, but I like it.

I bought mine in the states, but don't remember how much price difference it was.

What sold me on the 80 vs. 30 was the 80 had a lot more battery life. Which is what I was looking for. I primarily bought the 80 for travelling and stuff, like when I'm in Europe and flying.

I can put all of my movies on there and all of my music and i'm ready to go!

30GB iPod Video (Black) w/ Shure E4g earphones.

My brain:
>Awesome battery life.
>Great audio quality.

I listen to so much music at home, I always have a bunch of songs stuck my head.

Sandisk Sansa E250 with a separate 2GB MicroSD card. Stock headphones (can't tell the difference between these and Shure e3cs so I didn't waste the coin).

I'm kinda thinking of picking up an iPod Mini with a busted harddrive and putting an 8GB CompactFlash card in its place, and running Rockbox on it.

When I'm done class today I'm going to rip apart a perfectly good Pentium III-M 933 laptop to make a digital picture frame with voice control and real-time weather updates. Oh, and RSS feeds. Such overkill.

Hey if you are ever in need of a scrolling LED sign I can make you one. Usually I just use the PIC16F871 microcontroller, but if you preffer something else i am willing to comprimise.

At the gym: 60GB black iPod
In my truck: iPod via DEI head unit interface
In my office: Del Inspiron 9300 & Logitech 2.1 system
In my room: iPod via Kensington dock or DVD-R in Philips DVD player through home stereo system.

Creative Vision W 30GB.
Wide screen video, pictures, and loads of music... and all you gotta do is plug it in and drag and drop files

Didn't wanna jump on the iPod band wagon

Posted by PurpleHaze on Mar-14-2007 15:58:

for my computer I have an oldschool harman kardon setup (was really good a few years back)

i do have a portable mp3 player but its fuckin garbage, i do most of my "outside" listening in my car - 1600w in amps, a good 10inch sub and 4 jbl speakers ... such a nice crisp sound, just closing my eyes feels like im really at an event, it can get dangerous on the roads though LOL

THere are a few differences:

PROS

-Better Battery Life than 30GB. I think it was like 6 more hours or something like that. 24 vs. 18...?

-More storage. 80GB vs. 30GB

CONS

- Price Difference
- 80GB is bigger than 30GB (thikness). noticeable difference. Also a little bit heavier (but not a big deal).
