Yeah, I agree that everyone has their own taste in music and I do apologize for being so harsh on the opening acts. I was more pissed off at Club Spin for not letting Eddie finish his set, or even take a few pictures.
And I'm not going to lie, I was out on the dance floor dancing to the openers. I guess I should feel a little lucky that I was able to hear something new (even if it wasn't my cup of tea).
Bottom line, I think Club Spin really dropped the ball on the show and I will really think twice before driving across TX to see another show there.

All sorts of styles for all sorts of fruity people I guess.

King Britt put on a very good show.. I dunno about everyone else... but King Britt was off the chain. Eddie was good (technically) but I am not into that style of music.. just too hard.. he was pushing 150BPM lol

| Originally posted by Zild I respect what he does. I'm just saying from an ex turntablists perspective he isn't very technical. Cool he can hype the crowd that's great but from my point of view DJs should be somewhere in a closed off booth in a darkened corner. |
Personally I like to pay attention to my friends, the music, and getting into my own zone. Quite often I turn my back on the DJ and grab my friends to dance.

You know, the whole 'fixed' thing was so cool when I did it a couple of times. But the way Ryan does it with such style and precision is really taking it to a new level. We need more people like Ryan doing this every other post.

I'm quite sure I would eat his lunch in a scratch battle. And since you know nothing about me son yes you are making extreme assumptions and showing your ignorance.
Oh noes! Hey look at me I can chirp scratch over trance music weeeeee!
oh hell naw.
thats why hes sponsored by pioneer doing and he`s thing on the top 100 dj poll and your still bragging about your self on forums. fucking ace.
you just showed everyone how big your head is. so much for being humble. people actually sicken me when they talk like that. i know im not the only one that feels like that about people who talk themselves up.
hey i got an idea. tell everyone what you have done to put urself where you are today. since your djing is so successful. oh wait a sec. i listened to your mix cd the other day while i was remodeling my studio. here is something thats constructive criticism. work on your mixing. u can scratch mix and crab a crossfader but u cant phase a track right.
Not to totally cram my foot into this wood chipper of a conversation, but one of Jake's more sterling qualities is his utter lack of humility on this forum.

Let me tell you that you have no idea what is going on when you say things like 'phase a track right' or talk about the top 100 DJ poll like it has any true relavence whatsoever. People like you make me take shits in public restroms on the faucet, err make me sick. Have a nice life bitchboy err lizadprince. Again like I said you're just proving how utterly stupid you are every time you post. Of course I wouldn't expect you to understand the humor. Yeah and you're right I made two phrasing mistakes in my last mix, but fuck it it is much more tighter than almost any top 100 DJ I've seen before so be it. |

The best artists always die penniless and unappreciated in their own time. And yes I'm still laughing that you think the top 100 means anything about someone's level of skill or anything else for that matter. Now let's have make up sex and call Jonas the master err daddy!
