always enjoyed dance music (2 unlimited and etc back in the days when i was like 10 years old and etc), but the song that really got me connected with race/trance was Dj Dave Davis - Transfiguration from 96 or 97

Went through stuff like Bedrock - For what you dream off, Prodigy - Outta Space/Everybody in the place/fire etc but the first tune that I could say was trance was when I was about 13, riding home in the car one night with Pete Tong on radio 1 and he played for the first time BBE - 7 days & 1 week , I was addicted from then, tho I liked Hardcore/Drum & Bass/Gabber from 1993

80s
Kraftwerk
Snap

Started off with some commercial dance. Stuff like 2Unlimited, Snap and Culture Beat. Then I moved on to some uplifitng Eurodance for some time. Acts like Masterboy, Look Twice, Double You.
Then it wasn't until I heard Scooter I got more into the trancey rave stuff. After that it was about '96 sometime I heard Legend B's Lost in Love and my trance listening sort of took off from there.

New Order - True Faith (12"), Bizarre Love Triangle (12")
Company B - Fascinated
Kon Kan - Move to this
that song from Fashion TV (Obsession ?) - used to be played in the rollerskating arena's

I can't remember the first trance tracks I listened to, but it all started in the 80's with those.

I dont even know, I have been listening to elctronic music since I can remember. Song that got me into trance? Dunno..I didn't even know it was trance, robbert miles - childeren.

But 'For an angel' by PvD really blew the thing wide open for me, now im addicted for life

Started buying records around 1999 or so, first one I liked all the way through was Pet Shop Boys - The Singles Collection. So began my love for dancey electronic pop. First trance record I liked was PVD - out there and back. (all the way through that is)

*puts on flame resistent suit*

As far back as I can remember I liked Eurodance, but these are the ones that got me looking into trance as a new genre:

Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone
Darude - Sandstorm
Darude - Feel the Beat

Classic acts like Masterboy, Cappella, Snap!, Culture Beat, 2 Unlimited, Captain Hollywood, Imperio, U96, Mr. president, Dj Bobo etc. got me into the dance music in general. And i have to admit i still like to listen sometimes some of these classic groups!!!
