Rane rotaries don't have that.

And if it's their first model, you can't even cue two things at once in the headphones (they have a knob to select which channel is cue'd in the phones).

This is why you REALLY need to learn to mix using monitors.

yeah thats what i had to do. turn a knob to select the channel i get in my phones i couldnt get more than one channel at a time. then id flip the switch to hear the master and hear how the mix sounds

the only ones who care are bedroom djs

they only wish to be doing what you're doing

other working djs don't care

you might get a sour-face glance if you bail it but no one cares

i disagree.

i get gigs now and then, and i care.

when i didn't get gigs, i cared.

when i had never touched a deck, i cared.

your mixing should be THE BEST you can make it. i'll agree that a fuck-up here or there is not such a big deal, but it's not like NO one cares either. and it may sound pointless, but if anything, do it for yourself.

Fuck, in Montreal, they fucking CARE!

People are up on what's a good mix and what's bad mix and they really notice if it's even slightly off!

No, I've noticed it with everyone... Not just when I'm on the decks People have a sharp ear here and notice when they hear the horse races. It also doesn't help I'm always paranoid about it in my head
