What I want to know is why Armin has more than 2 CDJ's up there.

Who does he think he's fooling?

Posted by Clovis on Mar-21-2007 21:36:

When's the last time you saw Porter spin live (sometime just before last WMC there was a drastic change)?

I think know the answer: Because Blake was playing before Armin

Seriously though - for people who are into the whole "mega mix/cram as many tunes as you can into an hour" kind of thing, that's great - but it also provides for a lot of sketchy mixing (by nature of the shear lack of time to beatmach), and in general, a disjointed experience.

Admittedly, there are some good tunes on there - but 29 tracks in what's reported to be just under 70 minutes? Yikes. Excessive.

yikes is correct... that is too bad, I did quite enjoy his recent Spybar set.. unfortunately I dont remember what rate he was switching songs at...

in college we used to say "quantity over quality"... now that I have matured it's definitely about "quality over quantity".

this of course was referring to how much beer we could get for a party on paltry college funds. I have to say the same goes for music.

Posted by WM2 on Mar-31-2007 06:17:

With 29 tracks you would think they're all going to get about as much time as a TV commercial. This would seem to be more of a "how many people can I orally stimulate on one album" kind of deal instead of a proper mix.

Awesome picture. You've got quite the skills.

This is the Moses pose.. like from when he parted the Red Sea. Notice the subtle, yet striking, differences from the Jesus pose..
