The BIGGEST BEST BUILDUPs EVER:
Major League - Wonder (Original Mix)
ever since the beginning kicks it just takes you on a ride until the amazing fist pumping build.
System F - Elevate
the first time melody kicks, yer jaw drops. Second time, it builds, and builds and builds, and it's like.....YES YES YES YES YEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!! OmG!! ...dies....

The vague voice in the background then the wonderful synth pads then the snares and base ahhhh begin!
It's not so good at home stereo but at a club, on a good PA system, you're in heaven when that pad drops..
What about Push - Universal Nation (Ferry Corsten Remix)? I love that, especially the bit right before and after the 'Whooo!'
wow... there are too many... adding these to the list.
Solar Factor - No Return
King of clubs - Revelation (airwave mix)
The following (as posted) get my vote too...
Second Sun - Empire
Mario - Sound of nature (P&P mix) only cuz it's one of my fav's of alltime
oh and Amphetamine (Heckman remake) comes into mind too...
Origin - Wide Eyed Angel [Exposed Mix]
this track kicks a$$, the original sux badly though
Fire & Ice - Souvenir De Chine
persistance of vision - space touch
v-three - resistance
airwave - save me
oddworld - the joker
traveller - bright sign (trance mix)
dj tiesto - magik journey
traveller - the arrival part 1
major league - wonder

Push - Strange World
Brings back sooo many memories of were me n a mate used to get pissed b4 we went round town in his room, and he would play this songs on his decks full whack with strobe lights n a siren, it was fuckin classic !! God I love that tune
Pants and Corset-Sacrilege
yowsers!
I'm also a big fan of Delerium-Heaven's Earth (matt darey remix) its a little cheesy, but hey, who cares
A good buildup is essential for me to enjoy a trance track. But sometimes,I get very disappointed after the buildup is over and the riff just doesn't cut it.Examples:
Kosheen - Catch (Hiver & Hammer Remix) (I was SO diappointed when the main riff kicked after that extremely powerful buildup with a driving bassline, ripping scratches and mind blowing vocals. But when the main riff kicked in...DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
It's way too simple and repetitive!!!I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in music before.)
Taiko - Silence (The Joker Remix)(This one simply ROCKS in the beginning. The drums and the bassline pound their way at a ferocious
pace, and with the right riff this one could've been an instant classic for me.Unfortunately, that doesn't happen. It goes all cheesy instead.Too bad
)
But now for some of many good ones:
Dawnseekers - Gothic Dream (John Johnson Remix) (INCREDIBLE buildup for like 3-4 minutes, then mindblowing gregorian chanting and then BAM!Back into the fray.Awesome.)
Max Graham - Sepia (This man gives the expression rolling beats a new meaning.Hard and pounding with a relentless cymbal on top.Add a solid bassline and swirling melodies, and you've got yourself quite a floor destroyer when the main riff kicks in.)
William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix) (Ferry is VERY good at creating adrenalin-spiking bulidups before the track takes off. This one is perhaps the best example of that, and probably also why his productions are so popular.)
Slipstream - Krakatoa (The buildup fits perfectly with the whole atmosphere of the track.)
Marco V - Simulated (Yes indeed.Banging as hell before the whole track
plunges headfirst into total synth-inferno.Played at the right speed at the right time, this one will cause complete devastation on the floor.)
dj kim - jetlag (alphazone remix)
