we had a show of similar humour in the late 90s called "the 11 o'clock show" which is where Ricky Gervais & Sacha Baron Cohen (Ali G) Originated from. It's the only thing gervais has worked in that i've found funny at all. But the original 2 presenters left after i think season 2 and it lost the edge when new people came in.

england have a dicey game against kenya to come, but they should progress comfortably too
india has to beat sri lanka, and sri lanka will beat bangladesh, so they should get in as well
pakistan as we all know are out

so.
except for west indies, each of the other teams play ireland in the super8 which is a small disadvantage for the home team since that is a guaranteed 2 points to everyone else.

semi finalists:
india, australia, south africa, new zealand
