Corderoy - Sweetest Dreams?

Ya..

We all went together to a rave in Angels Camp here in Norcal a long time ago..

Called Serenity

It was his first Rave.

He remembered hearing it in one of the rooms just as he was beginning to feel

He remembered seeing us all together in a circle chillin, some of us were giving lightshows.. And it was before one of our raver friends passed away.

He just thought about the raves we been through together expecially that one and started to cry he said.

The song that I went the most apeshit to in a club was Dec 30, 2006 when Ferry Corsten dropped Beautiful at Ruby Skye.

It was the happiest moment I have felt listening to EDM.
I was with my best friends, all in Ferry shirts, it was NYE weekend, we knew he was going to play it and we had waited months for him to play it again at Skye.

Do any of the SFTAs have a vid of that song that night?

No tears though. Just sweat.

Delirium - "The Silence 2000" always got to my B/F

Posted by cmay119 on Mar-23-2007 23:20:

I think I've shed a couple listening to these for the first time:

Young Parisians - Jump The Next Train (Kyau vs Albert Remix)
Mark Otten - So Serene (Menno De Jong's Heading South Remix)

There are a lot of emotional tracks out there, but those two seemed to get to me more than the others.

Even though it doesn't make me cry....... I LOVE the memories that 4 Strings - "Take me Away" brings. Good times, Good times.......

DITTO!!!!!!!!!
I still remember where I was when I finally "heard" it. I was in L.A. going home from some ghetto rave and we were getting on the freeway...you had to be "there"!

Another song that I really love (I don't know about making me cry, though) is No One on Earth.
I absolutely love that song. I remember I was selling shots and that song came on so I put the remaing shots (there were only 4)on the speaker so I can dance with Eric and some idiots stole the shots.
Rosie has my back though, she made sure they gave me the money. Rosie is super cool...I miss her.

That's why I was so happy when Blurr played No One on Earth on one of my first nights at 1015.

Cass & Slide - Perception (Vocal Mix)

You can see forever
Look inside of your mind
Find a sense another wonder
Just release the fears you left behind

Feel your way through the darkness
Guide your soul into the light
Swim into the open water
Drift on the tides that you may find

Find your soul in the sunrise
Look around you can see it in their eyes
Be as one together
Rise up as the emptiness subsides

You can see forever
Rise up together
Search and you will find the answer
If you look deep inside of your mind

Oceanlab was here, Justine Suissa and Above and Beyond performing live.. I think some of you remember that wherehouse.. One of the parties where it got so hot in the rooms that sweat welled up on the ceilings and dripped back down on the crowd..

Oceanlab (Above & Beyond) was here before than? When they came out in 2003 or 2004 for Skills party, I went mental. Hearing Justine sing Sky Falls Down, made me bust a tear. Her voice is to die for!

There are so many songs to choose from!

However, one fond memory I have was on a drive in Italy from Lido De Jesolo to Tuscany...I had spent a week (for my bday) at a hotel off the Mediterranean Sea. Nothing but sitting by the beach, drinking and clubbing at night! I believe one of the clubs there is Mulleto which had Deep Dish spin when I was there (back in 04 when I liked them a lot more)....

I was listening to Krystal K - Let's Get it Right (Danny Howells remix) and as I was driving through the beautiful countryside, the song brought out happiness in a truly intense emotion, which (in turn), got me teary eyed. For some reason when I listen to that song, it has a feel-good but melancholy side as well - perfect for reflecting how great of a time I had at Lido De Jesolo but yet sad it was ending.

Trancey stuff makes me emotional sometimes. Especially older MIKE productions. Well older trance music in general.
