OK I just skimmed this thread since I am at work :P

We can attend the pre-party without actually going? The timing sucks cause of school and work for most I believe :P

I can afford it, just not the time, unless I win the lottery, then I am paying for people's trips!

Yes, all of your meals are included and we are working on setting up the dining so we can all eat together with Markus, the TA's, DJ's and everyone involved with this. Drinks are not going to be included but we are not talking WMC prices though and its not that pricey for them.

In the coming days, there is going to be a lot of information coming forward on what to expect. We are going to be taking care of everything for you on this event so the only thing you need to worry about is having fun..

LOL, i didnt even know i had an account here. Tried logging in after reading this post and it said welcome. I guess that's cool.

this cruise is going to abolutely badass. what better than a few days on a ship going around the caribbean with great music, people, drinks, and SUN

i'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the line up. It's already looking pretty sweet!

That there is a contest

Posted by planbrad on Apr-07-2007 17:11:

just sneak bottles of liquor on the boat. most cruises allow 2 wine bottles per person also.

when you get your own booze on the boat, just buy an unlimited soda pass and mix your own drinks all trip.

this must be one crazy headache to organize, but i do have a bunch of questions...

i've cruised before, many times actually, and I cant imagine this being a full boat if it's been chartered strictly based on this event.

I guess I would consider if there were more specifics. Pricing I agree is a bit high, but perhaps the $150-200 event fees can be missed for those travelling out of state who solely want to join for the cruise and not need pre-cruise lodging or plan to attend the pre-party event. So we'd just land the day of and head to the dock to board the ship.

are there scheduled sets for each night? pool djs during the day? djs on the beaches at port of call? what exactly are we getting here for the amount of money we are dishing out?

also, sept is hurricane season and even though ships can reroute, it doesn't always guarantee a pleasant trip (ie: rain on the deck sucks at any time of the day).

i'm definitely interested, but i think if you're going to throw numbers at us, you really need to outline what type of schedule/itinerary there will be in order for people to place a value on the event.

I'll check back on this thread...

Its not, right my travel agency has a huge set of rooms blocked off at group rates for everyone invloved. The sailing
is still green so as these deposits keep coming in, I am booking up more rooms but am going to cap
this off at about 300 people as we are wanting to keep this an intimate event for the DJ's and crowds alike.

Those requests will have to be considered on a case by case basis as the costs involved with putting
something like this together are not small. The pre-cruise event is our way for everyone to meet
each other as they will be spending the next 5 nights together on a cruise ship.

With regards to the nightly events.

POOLSIDE:

Three of the nights we will be outside around the pool on the top of the cruise ship under the stars.

SPOTLIGHT LOUNGE

Two of the nights will be inside the Spotlight Lounge. Each one of these minus the nights around
the pool (which will be mostly ours) will be private and we will not be selling tickets on the ship.

The days will belong to you and we are setting up excursions in Jamaica and Grand Cayman for
those interested in doing something on the island. For those who want to stay near the ship we are
setting up some events right now that will go on beachfront during the day with our DJ's.

Yeah it sucks that we cant control the weather but its not going to deter us from having a kick ass time.
In the caribbean most of the rain happens during the day with nights being completly full of stars.
Thats where we plan to be..

These are GREAT questions and I am going to add them to the front page for an FAQ along to our website.

Just as a reminder, Trip Insurance is offered with a cancel for any option reason should you be
interested in it. Also, remember to get your $200.00pp deposit in ASAP. There is limited space on the
Solar Sessions Cruise as we are making this an intimate event with Markus Schulz, his fans and
all of the DJ's alike.

Also, I am setting up our dinner times so we will all be seated together. More than anything,
there will be great music and lifelong friends made during this amazing week!

Hope this helps!!

Best Regards,
Jonathan Allyn

Looks like a great event. The pricing is fair too, especially considering you won't have to put up with a shit cruise ship DJ in the nightclub.
