Death Proof has pretty cool dialogue, but the on-screen stuff is pretty stale.

So is it extra admission $$ since it's a double feature?? Needs to be seen in a crowded theatre.

Kurt Russell was trying to get a seat at a theatre over here and the lady he was trying to get a seat next to said the seat was taken and she kicked him out. Only to later realize Kurt Fucking Russell was trying to get a seat and picked one next to her and she kicked him out.

for some insane reason, i got today's matinee for $6 instead of the usual $8.

My friend paid for my ticket this morning to go see it with him, so had the gas to stay awake through Death Proof.
I didn't see any real fucking point to the first part of Death Proof, probably why i slept through it the first time.

but WTF, that car chase in the second portion WAS INSANE. how the fuck did they pull that off? The girl is completely unrestrained at some points, spinning around while the car is moving and being sideswiped.
Seemed like Tarantino wanted to 1up Audition's take on women empowerment. how many times did that lady try to "stick it up" kurt russels ass? At the end, with kurt whimpering crying and shit, it was like he was being raped and the women were taking the role reversal, beating the shit out of tough guy.

But the fact that it also features the grindhouse experience, wooo, time to get cry like an attention horse.

Death Proof sucked dick, too dragged on, boring. Chase seen was alright though.

Planet Terror was fucking amazing and so were the intermission commercials. Thanksgiving . I started to cry when I was watching that and Zombie Woman of the SS (Nick Cage )

Overall great movie. Doesn't hold shit against 300 though.
