wow, those people are stupid. When he tries to reason with them about human psychology, they come back with the most irrelevant shit i've ever heard.

well it is a pretty easy word for people to get confused with haha.

Yeah, there is no point to even try and rationalize with them. There are completely set in their ways and there is no turning back. However, it looked like that younger daughter might have some potential to be normal.
Speaking of cults and religion in other threads, this is definitely what you call a religious cult. The leader dude looks like he is going to croak any minute now!

Arrow

What I'd like to know is what would happen to them if for some reason one of the church members died prematurely.

Let's say one of the children had some life threatening disease, what would their reasoning be for god taking the child's life. If all these people are dying because god is condemming them, how would they explain it?

Also, why do they continue to use America's services if everyone is going against god's word. At the very least, they could move into a rural area and become self-sufficient. They drive cars that are manufacutred for them, they share in the economy, education....why?

It's too inconvienent for them to give that up. All they focus on is spreading god's message to give America a wake-up call to reality, as they put it. Why not lead by example?

The focus is just to get everyone to become anti-homosexual. They can't call themself a relious group or a church by only focusing on one aspect of what they feel is religous.

Since they seem so adament about harassing the families who lost their children at war, I wonder what they would do if one of the kids that left their family/church went on to become a soldier then died at war.

Would the church turn against its own members, who would be blamed?

Or better yet... if one of the kids that left admitted to being gay. Would the parent of that particular individual be blamed, would they be harassed by their own church, etc?

Okay, let the American guy talk. Hehe, Actually I agree with you guys.

But I find it funny, and its not really a big deal here in the states, much like Bill O Reilly or Ann Coulter trying to making a scene, although they know they will be out of things to say in 2008 and so forth. Bash all you want Coulter, you dumb bitch ass will not survive.

Like I said, don't expect zealots and fanatics to be rational or logical or reasonable

Its funny, O'Reilly and Coulter were saints for a few years after 9/11. My, how times have very much changed for our neighbors to the south. Thank God "the terrorists" are no longer the driving force behind alot of the domestic and foreign policies being made (for everyone except for Bush anyways).

Democrats are a shoe-in in 2008.

(as for these idiots in the documentary...old man dies, cult disbands. End of story. You can tell all the women who spoke are torn between the pastors preachings and their own needs. First chance they get, they bolt).

people assumed that in 2000 and again in 2004.

I only watched the first video so far. My favorite part is when she says that committing adultery is the same as being a homosexual. What a fucking idiot.

Cale says that you can see the license plates long enough that if you pause the video you can copy it down and find out where she lives. Let's burn their house down.

P.S. This is Lisa

Point taken. But 4 years ago - let alone 8 - were a long time ago. The world has changed and the Republicans can't platform on terror anymore, at least not enough to win an election.

I accidently made a bet on Ladbrokes for the 2008 election back in 2005.

I bet $1.50 that the Democrats would win!

If i'm right I'll win $1.30...so $2.80 total.

I think I made the wise investment...haha

truth be told, thier stance regarding homosexaulity being a sin and sexually immoral is according to the Bible, actually correct.

i defy anyone to argue this is not biblical fact.

however, the adamancy and venomous way in which they spread thier message borders on hate, which is in itself a sin.

so, biblically thier stance can be supported, but they fall far short in garnering any support for thier movement thru thier behaviour.

they are both wrong- both the persecutors, and the persecuted, biblically speaking, of course.

ya cause nobody could every misinterpret anything from the bible... let alone incorrectly translate/interperet any ancient hebrew/greek/aramaic text.
